For some reason I have a high slop tolerance for the Jackson universe. The Hobbit movies kind of suck, but I've still watched them many times. I have a feeling these next two movies will be like that- kind of whack, but with enough nice art direction and basic competency (since the team is largely the same behind the scenes) that they will be decent flicks.I also imagine that they will look less garish than The Hobbit.Prediction: good/okay movies that are enjoyable nostalgia bait for a few hours with good rewatch value.
