I don't get it
>dude nazis are badYawn
>>218923604Kind of a dumb movie, but still pretty fun if you're a tank autist.
>>218923604>that guy is against usury>the most evil of all Germans>KILL HIM
>>218923642>pretty fun if you're a tank autist.not eventhe tiger scene was embarrasing considering they got the only working tiger in the world for it
>>218923604Liked it until the finale, the final last bit of mercy was good tho
>>218923642Nigger what? If you were a tank autist, you would despise this movie lmao
>>218923678>>218923724Tank autist ≠ tank pedant
>>218923742I don’t think you know what the word autist means
>>218923767In this context, it's used to describe someone with an autistic fixation or "special interest".
I liked it. It had some unrealistic scenes, but it wasn't meant to be a brainy, historically accurate film. It's a tank film. A good one too. Lighten up and enjoy the show.
>>218923812Yes, and someone with an autistic fixation for tanks would very likely not like the movie Fury.
>>218923880I do and I did. Sure its absolutely rife with historical and technical inaccuracies, but it's the first tank movie I've seen where the narrative revolves around a single tank crew, both in and out of combat.
Burn local, the spic and Shia wanting to rape White women is the only realistic scene in the movie.
>>218923978Then you don’t have an autistic fixation with tanks. You may be interested in them, but you are not autistically fixated with them if you found Fury enjoyable.
>>218924133I concede then. Only a true tank autist with 20k hours in War Thunder would gatekeep tank autistry.
>>218923604You say that a lot.
>>218924167>I concede thenKWAB
>>218923604had a few good scenes and music, ruined long needless civilian brutalization scenes and the star wars ending. Also the Tiger scene really was just retarded as shit
>>218923604>meets random german woman>they have sex near instantlyis that really how it worked im not even kidding
>>218924396American GIs bought European, Japanese, and Australian pussy for a pack of cigarettes and a chocolate bar back in the day. Australians were being so thoroughly cucked that they started a riot.
>>218924421I guess those eggs were so rare she wanted him then weird. Thanks for your answer
>>218923642Guy I know who used to be a loader fucking hates this movie.
The story follows the new recruit norm at the start of the story he is reluctant to kill nazis which ends up some kids in nazi garb totching some dude and the dude vlowing his own brains out from the agony of being burned alive. he is contrasted from the rest of his comrades in the same tank.with the tank commander being brad pitt. the movie is resolved in two scenes the first is the "rape" scene where pitts character takes norm to this ladys flat where he falls in quick love with this german woman tensions mount when the rest of his unit show up and feel jelous. When the scene resolves the house the lady was staying at blows up and norm finds his you;g love dead amongst the rubble, no one gives a shit except norm. the next scene is the final climactic scene where they are the last tank in a three tank squad and the tank commander decides to make his final stand at some fuckin crossroads with an ss battaltion quick on the heels. the crew all know this means certain death and while being given the chance to flee decide to go with suicidal solidarity. why they decide to do this when they just about to tear each others throats out over raping a young blonde german chick. anyways norm evenrually becomes okay with killing germans and at the end of the movie he is a friegtened little man getting pulled out of a hole in a cage\metal coffin where the rest of his squadmates corpses are. the movie was called fury becuase of the name of the tank
>>218924458Worked with an old school Army Cav guy who loved it.
Several important scenes were deleted. The film has a sub theme about fate.A couple deleted scenes:-Brad Pitt explains why he's there to the new guy. Basically he got involved in a car accident and killed his little brother and his gf, judge told him to choose jail or service, he choose service and the judge told him something like 'you should die in that war'. The burn scars on his back are because of this not because of combat. He's decided to never return, wants to die there. His little brother name? Same as recruit.-the recruit has a premonition hability or some shit, can see a bit in the future or can see how people will die, can't remember which. These scenes do not make the last battle not suck but at least gives more context to Pitt's character and his decisions.
>>218923656>>218923618You faggots are so fucking tiresome, kys
>>218924528>-the recruit has a premonition hability or some shit, can see a bit in the future or can see how people will die, can't remember which. What the fuck, source? sounds like complete bullshit
Remake named Epic Fury when?
>>218924539You know we're right
Throughtout the movie pitts character makes it a point to keep telling norm that atrocity and anger go beyond norms petty bullshit concerns. Norm doesnt want to lose his humanity , but pitts character keeps reminding him that he is in a fucking war and it stupid to do that becuase he wants to win. Norm needs to get over being a pansy and man up so he can kill and rape and be a good tool for war becuase its the only winning strat. its pretty typical military pr recruitment propaganda slop.
>>218924564Not sure it's here, but it's a pretty good analysis on the first deleted scene I mentioned.https://youtu.be/UbauozjtvOc?si=aQHDs6orU3HUdQXaYou can google "Norm deleted scene fury movie" if it's not there.
BEST JOB I EVER HAD
Why do the tank bullets and gun bullets look like they were fired from Star Wars blasters?
>>218925721Tracer rounds but I don't know why. Maybe military bros can help us but I think they were just trying to make a more kino aesthetic.
>>218926300So you where your bullets go and correct their aim if needed
>>218923604They just loved communism and drag queen story hour.
>>218925721Every fifth round was a tracer round so they could tell where the bullets were going. It just didn't look good on camera because they weren't animated properly. If you watch the opening of Saving Private Ryan, in some shots the MG42s also have tracer rounds but they look much better.
>>218926394It's generally used 1 in 5 ratio though. They are used in every round in this movie, at least in that one scene in the field.
>>218927281I'm aware of the tracer thing, it doesn't explain why every single bullet is a tracer in Fury. It just looks really corny.
>>218924823Absolutely did not believe you, looked it up and you were correct. The backstory would have been a good addition to the WD's character. Very glad they cut out the hint at prescience nonsense.
>>218923604Whats to get? It's a terrible movie
>>218927308>Why don't I see invisible bulletsBecause they are invisible.
>>218924697>"haha, because it triggers you lmao! XD"does not equal being right
>>218923604It's a terrible movie if you want it to be accurate with respect to tank warfare in WW2.I've treated it in my mind as a 40k Imperial Guard tank movie we are never going to get and as that, it works beautifully. You get all the gore and brutality expected of 40k, and some fun tank brawls and "war is hell" messaging.
>>218928020Is this star wars why do they look like that? What does it actually look like in real life?>>218927281
>>218933980>terrible if you want it to be accurate with respect to tank warfareIn what way, in your view?It seems to have been well-received by actual WW2 veterans and is generally seen as an accurate depiction, at least if you exclude the silly suicidal behavior of the Nazis in the end battle
>>218923604Hitler dood
>>218935212Silly suicidal nazis in the end is part of it. Star wars looking guns because everything uses tracers are too. The tiger battle is also very questionable. IIRC Fury could have easily penetrated it frontally at their engagement range, without the need for all the dancing to target it in the back (which does make for good thrills and reminds me of playing WoT, but that's not accuracy). I also question the part where they are saved from penetration by a bunch of logs attached to the side of the tank (normally used to help drive out of a bog/mud pit).I'm also not sure why the Tiger crew decided to rush the Shermans. They have the range advantage. Sure they could have come out of the smoke a little bit, but that's not the same as immediately closing to knife fight distance. Also, Pitt's character uses a trophy German Stg44. It makes him look like a cool seasoned warrior and indicates to the viewer that neither Allied supply situation nor their adherence to regulations was great - but I am not sure where he would get ammo for it in quantities anywhere near enough to be practical to keep it. Allied bases definitely don't keep boxes of 7.92 Kurz lying around for him to use. It wasn't exactly a rare round, Volkssurmgewehrs also used it so he could theoretically be looting every Volkssturm stash they find, but it doesn't seem practical for a tank commander to do that.
>>218923618>>218923656Nazis had a 80% surrender rate. 18 million mobilized, 4 million KIA. Why didn’t they want to fight?
>>218927193really is strange that they try to push germany being a godless nation when all of their vehicles were identified with a crossmeanwhile the allies' identifier was a pentagram really makes you think
>>218938613german culture does not have a history of guerilla warfare for starters most of the forces that 'surrendered' were merely armed civillians, not trained soldiers they also naively believed that they would be treated with basic humanity, which is always a mistake when dealing with americans and communists
>>218938613And the wounded? What's the percentage, usually they are like 3 times more than KIA.
>>218938972>they also naively believed that they would be treated with basic humanityAw, the poor genocidal maniacs got some more booboos then then they expected. Good, they deserved worse.
>>218935212>It seems to have been well-received by actual WW2 veteransI don't trust their memories generally when judging films decades later.
