I thought it was okay but it got 4.4/5 on LB and 8.2 on imdb. I'm really not a fan of those old movies that are high society people talking indoors with nothing interesting going on visually.

>>218927722There are many movies I personally dislike because I find them objectionable but overrated means the movie is objectively worse than it's reputation, which is different.The answer to that question is a simple one. It's The Matrix. Routinely listed as an all time great but not a single aspect of the movie is better than mediocre. Wooden acting across the board, bad CGI, fake looking martial arts, a shitty plot where "love" overrides all the established rules of its world, and it dumbs down simulation theory past the point of having any substance at all. I don't dislike the movie that much, I just think it's objectively the most overrated, as there's nothing good about it. Inception and Forrest Gump are also contenders.
