Why is there only one good comedy about breakups? It’s one of the most traumatic experiences in a man’s life, yet there are almost no moobies about it.
>>
>>218929112
When a guy even says the words "bad breakup" I know what kind of man he is.
>>
>>218929112
that's what happens when you date an actress, he should have seen it coming
>>
>>218929112
This movie isn’t good and Jason segel shouldn’t be in movies
>>
>>218929112
Cuckcore for mopey sad sacks
>>
Kristen Bell makes my pp hord
>>
>>218929312
Elucidate us, what kind?
>>
was this the best pic they could take with mila kunis
>>
The sex scene was bonkers and kbell was a trooper for doing it.
>>
>>218932173
NTA, but ostensibly a weak kind who gets codependent with the women he dates. I was that kind of guy up until my late 20s. Now, I legit can't imagine acting like I had in previous breakups even if my wife and I were to divorce. I'd probably fuck a bunch of college skanks and do a bunch of drugs.
>>
>>218929112
Men have a stereotype of getting over relationships quickly cos they're whores who value everything else more than women. Men who kill themselves over women have other issues.
>>
>>218932283
For me, "bad breakup" was we agreed to go back to being friends, we started bantering and I made a sarcastic comment, and she went ballistic.
>>
>>218932382
Crazy. I've never had a decent breakup. I must have had some severe rejection problems, because in my early relationships, I could never let things end easily or go back to being friends. Always tried to hang on to the relationship even when it obviously wasn't going to work, because I didn't want to feel like I failed. Super glad I don't think like this anymore.
>>
>>218932445
a man who can't be friend with his ex is a red flag
>>
>>218934160
>t. Actual woman (female)

Show tits or gtfo whore. If I can’t have your holes anymore I sure as shit gonna sign my name on your orbiter list. Fuck off with that.
>>
>>218934160
>>218934262
Being friends with an ex means you can have sex whenever she gets aroused without her feeling guilty.
>>
>>218932445
I was clingy for a while too. Embarrassing myself after a break up. Last girl who broke up with me, I binned her phone number immediately. Saw her again 2 or so years later, and she was very curious about me. She wasn't just being friendly. I was though.

Couldn't be more cliché, but there you have it.
>>
>>218934160
You're either a woman or a man stuck in the weakness cycle I described earlier. Pathetic.
>>
>>218929112
>Why is there only one good comedy about breakups?
the breakup wasn't bad, plus we got that one picture of jen aniston
>>
>>218932032
>This movie isn’t good
you've never seen it
>>
>>218934460
That's the right move, and it's the advice I'll give my money when he's old enough. If a woman even suggests you take a break or break up, the answer is always, "okay" and then you go no contact and resume looking for a better girl. Never go back to one you've broken up with, either.
On to the point of the thread though, that's how a healthy, masculine male reacts to a breakup. It's not fertile ground for comedy, which is why there's so few movies like Forgetting Sarah Marshall.
>>
>>218932174
She was injured on set and ripped off part of her neck. Maybe the pic is after that so they had her do that weird pose to hide her injury.
>>
>>218934160
>a man who can't be friend with his ex is a red flag
if you can't be friends with your ex, you're dating awful people or you do things so awful that they don't want to interact with you anymore.
if you have to change friend groups every time you break up with someone, you are doing something wrong
>>
>>218934654
>She was injured on set and ripped off part of her neck
wat
>>
>>218934556
Which one?
>>
>>218932283
my engagement fell apart with the cunt i was with for 5 years over cheating and we had to live together for 6 months after while we fought and she cheated on her new bf with me constantly
that was a bad breakup
>>
>>218934740
the one where you see her boobers
>>
>>218934803
>we had to live together for 6 months
neither of you had anyone you could crash with? were you snowed-in out in some remote cabin?
>>
>>218929112
Jonah Hill was the only funny part and that whole Dracula play was gay as fuck
>>
I need a tall beautiful white gf so badly. I’m 30 and I feel ancient.
My favorite show is the twilight zone
>>
>>218934900
30 is a great time for meeting girls. Get in the gym a few times a week and take some community college classes. Literally all you need to do.
>>
>>218934660
That's reductive. You can just not like to be around someone you had intense feelings for, because those feelings linger. Unless you're an unfeeling sociopath, you should understand that.
>>
>>218929112
Kristen Bell and Mila Kunis. I can totally beat off to this movie.
>>
>>218932283
My first teenage gf cheated on me, that definitely was traumatic, but after that it's whatever, for the most part.
>>
>>218935040
Well I mean at that age, you've got no perspective. That shit feels traumatic, but it's really just a lesson. I dated this super hot chicken at 16 and my memories with her are some of my favorite from my teenage years, but it was like a month and a half before she cheated on me with her ex. Hurt so much at the time, but looking back on it, it's almost laughable.
>>
>>218935151
>super hot chicken
Kek.
>>
>>218935029
Best mila ever looked.
>>
>>218929112
I just went through a bad breakup with a woman i dated for 15 months. After her threatening breakups with me for the last 2 months I finally told her I was breaking up with her, and she told me I would regret my decision, then broke down and begged on her knees for me to reconsider.

I used to be like >>218932445 >>218934460 before. I set better boundaries for myself now and dont date brown women anymore. last I heard, her h1b visa may not be getting removed and she has to go back to India
>>
There was once a time on /tv/ where if you talked about having a gf even once you'd be asked to leave. Now people posting about their wives and ex wives and children and gfs
>>
>>218929112
This movie is really good and Russell Brand was at his peak here.
>>
>>218935491
yeah dude we are older than 30 what the fuck do you think
>>
>>218935547
Shame he found it easier to be a maga grifter. Just a total piece of shit, worse than theo von and joe rogan. Go watch a video and see the ultimate performance in bamboozling.
>>
>>218929112
Absolutely great flick, although the "unrated" version was immeasurably better and a hell of a lot smoother. No Good Guys, No Bad Guys - just people trying to live their lives and have a decent relationship and a breakup with sins on both sides.
>>
>>218935589
You guys told me you would be forever alone I believed it
>>
about what movie
>>
>>218929112
I'll just leave this kino here...
>>

>EVERYONE HAS TO BELIEVE IN MY LIBERAL HORSESHIT OR THEY'RE EVIL!!!
I'm so tired.

Pearls before swine.
>>
>>218929112
>why aren't there comedies about traumatic events
>>
>>218936306
I'll check it out, ever since drive i have respect for brooks.
>>218936373
If you can't see he is a bullshit artist then there is no hope for you, rube.
>>
>>218936665
It's really good! If you're not laughing by the quaaludes scene, then it may not be for you, but I think it's a gem.
>>
>>218935634
>Shame he found it easier to be a maga grifter
he was always a schizo, we just didn't know it til after his first few films that it wasn't a character, this is just who russel brand was.
>>
>>218929112
There is one called the breakup either Vince vaunted and Jennifer Anniston but it wasn't well received and probably cause breakup movies are hard to make funny unless you go full comedy and people want romance more
>>
>>218937646
It was huge and was on HBO all the time
It's when they were both dating as well. Vaughn even made a cameo in mr. And Mrs. Smith.

Watch more and better movies.
>>
>>218929112
Modern dating is so shit we’re all supposed to get paired off traditionally in our late teens via shotgun marriages and have support from the parents and grandparents. America is a sexual wasteland.
>>
>>218934694
she got hit by a jet ski or something, iirc the bts interview about it is just the actors joking about how it happened so it's not clear what really happened
>>
>>218935023
I'm like that as well but I see plenty of people continue to be friends after a breakup, usually because it's unavoidable since they met in the same friend group. It's something a lot of people do without problems, the last wedding I went to two of the guests were the groom's exes, nothing interesting happened.
