>Four years after Spider-Man: No Way Home.>Peter Parker has been neglecting his personal life and being Spider-Man 24/7.>Opening montage features fights with several villains like Boomerang, Tarantula, Ramrod, 8-Ball and the Enforcers, and Spider-Man declining offers from Sam Wilson and Yelena Belova to join the Avengers.>MJ Watson and Ned Leeds return to New York City after graduating from MIT and move into the same apartment building as Peter. He is torn when MJ has a new boyfriend (Eman Esfandi).>Peter’s powers begin petering out, he seeks Bruce Banner for help and learns his DNA is mutating, leading to enhanced abilities including organic webbing.>Meanwhile, the Department of Damage Control has been experimenting on Jean Grey (Sadie Sink), a mutant runaway with telepathic and telekinetic abilities.>Tombstone wants to be the new kingpin and hires the Hand to ambush a Department of Damage Control prisoner transport to break out the Scorpion.>Spider-Man and the Punisher become involved in the attempted hijacking. They’ve crossed paths before and don’t get along.>Jean is also at the convoy and escapes, and the Punisher decides to protect her from the DODC.>Tombstone recruits Scorpion as his main enforcer and they later attack a DODC prison to break out and recruit the inmates for Tombstone’s organization.>DODC director Bill Metzger (Tramell Tillman) believes Spider-Man is helping Jean and launches a raid on his apartment. The Punisher and Jean rescue him, but Spider-Man is severely injured and the Punisher takes him to Claire Temple (Rosario Dawson) for medical help.
>Somehow Savage Hulk returns, and Spider-Man and the Punisher must team up against him, with the Punisher using heavy-duty weaponry stolen from the DODC in the fight.>The Scorpion betrays Tombstone and decides to become the new kingpin himself, leading to a final battle where Spider-Man and his allies fight Scorpion, Tombstone, the Hand and the DODC.>The movie reportedly ends with MJ regaining her memories, their love being so strong it led her back to Peter (renting an apartment next to his, helping Spider-Man during the movie, etc.)>Liza Colón-Zayas plays Cathy, a NYPD detective who helps Spider-Man and also supplies intel to the Punisher.>Kiernan Shipka reportedly has a small role as a blonde neighbor attracted to Peter who might be Gwen Stacy.>Keith David reportedly has a small role as Banner’s colleague Dr. Miles Warren, who helps Spider-Man with his mutation and later secretly steals a DNA sample for further experiments.>Zabryna Guevara appears as Sheila Riviera, Mayor Wilson Fisk’s assistant from Daredevil: Born Again, who appears to replace Fisk as mayor after his downfall, and gifts Spider-Man the key to the city.>Esfandi’s character is speculated to be Harry Osborn or Paul Rabin.>Tombstone will be a recurring villain throughout the new trilogy.>Man-Spider appears in a nightmare sequence.
