You know, I've known about this series for years and it didn't dawn on me how fucking stupid it was to try to adapt a movie as sharp in soul as the first HP on a fucking HBO budget until I saw the trailer.
I mean the movies weren't bad. I guess they just thought maybe if they already have the rights to the franchise, they could milk it some more. I just don't think doing a retelling of the books again is a good idea.
