I used to go to the Lamley to see this in high school, Tommy showed up to every screening and did Q&As before hand. He used to meltdown and leave if anyone asked him where his accent was from. One time I cosplayed as Chris R and he called cosplayers up to the front before the show. I got to act out the "WHERE'S MY FUCKING MONEY" scene with a random Denny cosplayer, it was so based. Room screenings stopped being the same after the Hollywood movie about it came out. Fuck James Franco for not letting Tommy speak at the oscars. Now screenings are full of noobs who only know about throwing spoons. They also get mad at classic taunts like "BECAUSE YOURE A WOMAN" after Lisa's mom says Lisa can't support herself.

My favorite part is playing football in the audience during the football scenes. Thank you Tommy Wisseau, you brought a ton of joy to my life. If you ever go to LA Comic con look for his booth. He talks to everyone and is constantly throwing free merch to the audience.

I met Sestero once before the fallout, compared to Tommy he's very professional and boring.

Also one time while waiting in line at the Lamley for a midnight screening, a guy dressed as Jesus skateboarded by, my friend threw our football to him and we played catch for 5 mins, then Tommy showed up and joined in. He can't throw a spiral for shit. Those were the days. I forgot how much this movie means to me, I've seen it about 20 times and even saw Tommy and Greg in London when I was living there during the Love is Blind tour. Tommy unironically is one of my biggest role models. He poored his heart out on screen, everyone laughed at him, but instead of spiraling in to depression he embraced the audience reactions and kept chugging. Still haven't seen Big Shark but I hope it's good. No way can it match the room tho
