The first one was pretty solid, how the fuck haven’t we gotten a sequel yet?

Todd Macfarlane wants say-so and control over it, which Hollywood won't give him.
>>
>>218955305
Michael Jai White is an asshole.

>>

I hope he at least gave up on that retarded idea of a Sam and Twitch movie where Spawn was in it for like 5 minutes as a low cost alternative. I'm a comic geek and even I don't give a fuck about Sam and Twitch. If you can't get the budget you need for a Spawn movie then don't make one.
>>
>>218955305
It was shit. The movie literally starts by explaining the plot that is going to happen because the movie does such a poor job conveying anything.
>>
>>218955599
Which one?

SNES, duh

I liked Spawn: Armageddon

Nah. He is pretty cool. He got a voice.role when marvel stole his image for.a comic book. He could have sued but took a more pleasant approach.

THE GAME

Let Spawn stay in the 90s where it belongs
>>
>>218955305
Why make something based on a cool well liked black character when they could nigger wash another white character then call the fans racist when they predictably get upset?
>>
My friend used to steal money his dad had hidden in a closet and buy tons of Spawn figures. He never got me one lol. I wonder if he still has them all

The robots? Bottom line and top gun were awesome sauce when I saw them in kb toys. Cygor was a close second.

Fuck you

It’s called a framing device, retard. Half of noir does the same shit. The opening exposition is like 2 minutes and then it’s straight into demon clown CIA hell schlock. The real problem wasn’t the narration, it was 90s CGI melting your retinas every time Malebolgia showed up. The movie rules purely off vibes and John Leguizamo chewing the scenery. Not everything needs MCU-tier handholding.
>>
>>218962673
John Leguizamo stole the show, how the fuck did he do it?

This is very telling of the sort of people that control entertainment media these days, everything gets made on the whims of spiteful and malicious people that fetishize disappointing fans for… some reason

Thank god for AI

That's image style of comic book writing so the spawn movie was pretty accurate to the source material
>you. need to read some interview in Wizard magazine to understand what's going on in the comic since the actual comic is just splash pages with no plot or characterization
>>
>>218967684
I remember the medieval cover of one issue.
>>
>>218962673
The cgi was good except for the hell parts
>>
>buy Mortal Kombat 11 on sale
>who tf is Spawn
>oh, there's an animated series, let's check it out
>S1 is pretty good, S2&3 are kinda slow and all over the place
>try reading the comics
>give up by issue 10, the way Hell works was the only interesting bit in it
>there's like 300 issues + spinoffs
How?

This, they also love remakes.
