I try to put myself in the shoes of some poor kid of the era who got taken to Fantasia as a treat and it was probably their first/only movie and they would never see it again but for that one time.
All of it, hand drawn. None of it had to exist. It wasn't going to make itself. Starting with a blank canvas and conjuring something from nothing.

Sword in the Stone and Robin Hood had the same problem which was a tacked on ending. Aristocats actually had an ending but I never liked it too much. The villains motivation made no sense to me even as a kid. Was he scared the cats are going to spend all his money or what lmao.
