lol no. They won't even finish the story before it falls apart. It's going to be ugly and drab, it won't follow the books, it will have scenes that are complete rip offs of the originals and the acting is going to be way worse. The development cycle is going to take at least 12 years if they even make every season. The studio thinks of it and treats it like a cash grab, but instead, it will turn into a money pit.

The only good parts will be a bad rip-off and the parts that aren't rip-offs will be soulless and cringe.

To expand on this, most of the Atreides talk amongst themselves like actors feeding lines of dialogue. There's no real sense they're really engaging in some factional war, or live in perpetual war in wartime. It's too "I'm speaking these lines with a grim gravitas!"
