>show this in the first movie
>>219026034what lore? Shit wasn't in the book but the harkonnens were homosexuals and that was their bad character trait. But hollyfags won't depict that.
>>219027586the based dune by lynch depicted that
>>219027586Leftists measure freedom by how many dildos they can shove-up their asses.
>>219028203Yup. Frank didn't like the fags. He had to deal with the shame of one of his children being a fag. McNease was basically flamboyant gay in the Sci-Fi Channel series as well. Always saying how Paul was a beautiful boy.
>Among the Imperial delegation, are the people in masks Guild Navigators, or Guild representatives at all?>They were Guild representatives. They were not Navigators. We don't see the Navigators in this first part. That was the one of the challenges of this adaptation – I was trying to keep mystery alive as much as possible. We don't show the Emperor, we don't see the Spacing Guild Navigators. There's a lot of characters that are mentioned or that are in the background that we don't see right away. I tried to keep all the space-travelling as mysterious as possible, like almost bringing some kind of mysticism or sacred relationship with that part of the movie. Everything involving space is just evocated and very mysterious.
Hayt and the tleilaxu are significantly weirder than the navigators. You can put a mutant on screen and people will understand that. Try describing mgtow Korean space liches to normie audiences
>>219028384https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ua0R1QXy7igThe black guy on Caladan said that he was joined by members of Spacing guild, Landsraad and Bene Gessert. The people wearing the orange helmets and carrying scepters were guild navigators.
>>219028393How is it hard? Tleilaxu are literally space dwarves who are later revealed to be muslim
>>219028743Villeneuve: "We don't see the Navigators in this first part."https://www.empireonline.com/movies/features/dune-spoiler-interview-denis-villeneuve-ending-paul-dreams-and-part-two/
>>219028393Dune '84 managed it fine. Get Lynched
The new movies look drab & have no sense of space feudalism. I want braziers & tapestries, Not cold stone.
>>219028814Well, there was no Navigator as a character in Herbert’s Dune either. They didn’t appear as characters until Edric in Measiah.
>>219028203>>219028829Imagine being such a tasteless goober that you stan a movie the director himself disowned lmao
>>219029559Who cares what Lynch thought about his own work? Insecure motherfucker. Frank Herbert loved Dune 1984, he's on record saying so.
>>219029559You're allowed to form your own opinions you know anon. You don't have to rely on the thoughts of the creator or random xwitter faggots.
>>219026034Wonder if we will even see the Guild Navigator or just that bland sarcophagus
>>219029057because the director loves that whole minimalist and big shapes aesthetic that he had in Blade Runner and it looks stupid espeically in science fictionDune is basically the entire Basis for Warhammer 40k and it should look like it.
>>219029559He disowned the TV re- edit that was done without his blessing, not the theatrical version. You've been Lynched, kid
Ixian won
>>219029626... because he signed an agreement with the studio.Literally nobody involved in a movie will say a word against that movie, because they will breach their contract and be sued into oblivion.
>>219031237Dumbass. The theatrical director was credited as "Alan Smithee."
>>219029864They should have hired Henry Cavill to play Duke Leto, he would have not just acted but also guarded the lore.
>>219026034that ass tho
>>219033423he can't act and his hands are too small to guard lore
>>219033423He could have played Shaddam Corrino, since he supposedly looked practically like Leto's twin brother instead an 80 year old Cristopher Walkin
>>219029864Greebles are stupid and the very definition of anti pragmatic
>>219028743i just noticed you can see one of the guild navigators' face through his helmet. it's not weird and deformed at all. immersion ruined.
