is this true?
>>
Yes I am poor and a cunt
>>
>>219053328
Most woke leftists are born rich and they're angry retards
>>
>>219053328
yes. and easy not to be racist too.
>>
If you're super rich and a homeless dude pukes on your shoes, you just go buy a new pair. No big deal.
If you're very poor and a homeless dude pukes on your shoes you likely kill the homeless guy because you can't afford new shoes.
That's the gist of the scene.
>>
>>219053328
Not true. Poor families usually come from lifelong poor lineages. If they become rich then they'll still be boorish and impulsive. They will squander much of their newfound wealth. If they're lucky, some of it will trickle down to the next generation.
Whereas normal rich people (say, <5M net worth, not the elites who fly on private jets) usually come from families that spent a few generations being rich. They're way better people overall because they've spent generations in better society developing higher aspects of humanity. They are usually smarter, kinder, more talented, more empathetic, more altruistic, etc. Honestly, if I had to choose between saving 1 wealthy family and 100 poor families I'd pick the wealthy one. Their net contribution to humanity (past and potential future) is probably greater.
>>
>>219053328
Cunts are cunts
Nice people are nice people
Money has nothing to do with it
>>
Surely there must be a better way of having a capitalist society where the wealth disparity isn't so absurd.
>>
I have never seen anyone go from bad to nice because they got money.
On the flipside I've seen a lot go from nice to bad because of money.
>hurr durr they're only nice because they have money
Poorfag cope clearly.
>>
>>219053895
Money doesn't change you, it just lets you be yourself more because the consequences of it are reduced.
>>
>>219053724
The poor man with a heart of gold is the exception, not the rule. They generally have little to no empathy for others. And they hate nothing more than a family member working their way out of poverty.
>>
>>219053895
>On the flipside I've seen a lot go from nice to bad because of money.
You would be surprised how many people are "nice" because they might want or need something from you at some point. When you have nothing to offer anyone that's when you will find out just how shitty the majority of society are.
>>
>>219053925
>>219053998
I am of course also in a 1st world nation, so perhaps poor means something different where you're from.
>>
>>219053328
Yes, it's easy to be nice when you always have the safety of money. If you're poor, stressed and constantly worrying it's way harder to be nice. It's possible, but we are talking averages here.
>>
>>219053328
It's cope. The shitty attitude of poor people is one of the main reasons they're poor. Being a bitter resentful miserable cunt gets you nowhere in life.
>>
People raised in poverty who become wealthy later are significantly more likely to be kind and altruistic with their money than people born into it.

Marcus Aurelius himself was a fascinating experiment into this type of upbringing.
>>
>>219054123
being pleasant just got me taken advantage of
>>
>>219053328
No, its a cope third world bugs have to excuse how soulless they are
>>
>>219054194
Being nice doesn't mean not having a backbone.
>>
>>219054194
Yeah it's a surprisingly fine line. The truth is when you have money you have to be guarded but not entirely closed off. You also have to learn this through experience which is why people that suddenly come into money have all sorts of problems they never thought they would have
>>
>>219053328
Parasite was unironically terrible
>>
>>219053328
I think so. The nicest people I've ever known were both rich and beautiful. What do they have to be mean about?
>>
>>219054123
>The shitty attitude of poor people is one of the main reasons they're poor
Modern society is literally controlled by the grievance politics of billionaires acting like victims
>>
Elon Musk nor Trump seem like nice people
>>
>>219054485
Billionaires don't represent the rich people poors have access to. The rich family in the show was well off but they weren't society's top elites that control south korean politics. A family with 100M is just another peasant to the billionaire class.
>>

South Korea is not really third world, buddy

Nor is a negative, so when you say that they seem like people you should use "or". But if you wanted to state "neither Elon nor Trump seem like nice people" then nor is good usage.

See how nice i am, it's not even my language and i help this anon, all because i grew up rich.

The ultimate midwit phrase. If there’s a better way then why don’t you come up with it faggot
>>
>>219054581
Trump making billions of his own chaotic policies by betting on the markets, or making money on his own manufactured crypto currency while pretending he is doing the best for poors. Or democratic people like Nancy Pelosi doing the same thing. All they seem to care about is making more money and all their presumed morals just disappear while being in power.

They were definitely far above the Korean middle class. The average person there lives in a tiny pod and eats instant noodles boiled on a hot plate.

I think billionaires are just people who got addicted to the game of life. Everyone unfairly paints them as greedy people. I don't see Lady Gaga as greedy per se and she is a billionaire. She makes her makeup company sure but is that greedy or just more creative expression?

Also unfairly they get called "evil" which is often just a values judgement. Any more than a lion is evil for eating a baby giraffe. When you are dueling with other Type A personalities you have to sometimes just ruin them and go for the jugular. Because you want to have fame and success. You never wanted money you just wanted To Win The Game.

Ironically I truly believe these types of people will collect worthless objects on purpose to just have something to strive for. If they make it illegal to be a billionaire anymore. Then trash becomes treasure. Being the Worlds Foremost Owner of Industrial and Toxic Waste will become the dude all the other psycho Type A dudes get jealous about. That guy figured out first that when they ban being a billionaire its time to quickly buy all the Toxic Waste in the world. Now lets see Paul Allens card.
>>
>>219054666
Im not a commie, but the ultimate result of a capitalistic society is that the ultra rich keeps hoarding more ressources. That's what always will happen inevitably. The more money you have, the easier it is to make more so all revenue streams will naturally flow to the richest people. That's the logical result of a capitalist society, so unless you have a better way for society to function then it's not a simple problem.
>>
>>219054676
I was asking about the supposed grievance politics of billionaires. You're just describing typical corruption of politicians.
>>
>>219054655
yea the black ones were worse but even the whites were terrible
>>
>>219054744
I think the two are connected, typical corruption is mostly created by billionaires who use their money to create special interests groups who promote policies that ensure billionaires make more money.
>>
>>219054123
>Being a bitter resentful miserable cunt gets you nowhere in life

>>
>>219054676
What the hell does that have to do with
>the grievance politics of billionaires acting like victims
So many retards on the internet form their thoughts by simply combining random cliche phrases they saw on reddit or /pol/. You have no idea what you’re talking about, you’re just stringing slogans together and hoping no one notices.
>>
>>219054892
Careers that give you tons of money select for psychopathic tendencies because people who has no moral compass have a much easier time climbing the ladder. This is true of pretty much any power structure. Every human organization imaginable, be it political, religious, corporate whatever, will inevitably become staffed with monsters that were driven to it because they desire power over others first and foremost.
>>
>>219054743
There is no better way for society to function which is why communists are retarded
>>
>>219054939
NTA but learn how to hold a conversation you miserable argumentative faggot.
>>
>>219054812
You're still saying nothing that has to do with grievances and acting like victims.
>>
>>219054939
But that's literally what is happening. Trump is a billionaire, who constantly puts himself in a victim role of "the evil democrats" or "draining the swamp from these evil elites" and then when he actually gets power he screws over his loyal fanbase through crypto currency scams and investing in markets just before his tweets influence the stock market.
>>
>>219054950
Posts like this just sound like cope and seethe to me, like when jocks are portrayed as asshole bullies even though they typically aren’t irl. Every high ranking manager or partner I’ve ever interacted with has been a super friendly and pleasant person who other people simply enjoy being around. I’m sure you’ll continue coping and say they’re all just secretly psychopaths thoughbeit.
>>
>>219054985
I’m not trying to hold a conversation about politics with some retarded midwit on the television and film board. I’m just popping in to let you know you’re an embarrassing dumb faggot
>>
>>219055062
You’re actually 90 IQ
>>
>>219055214
Why? Is that not what's literally happening?
>>219054974
And that's the problem, because the inevitable result of capitalism is ressources hoarding by the absolute top of society. Personally for European countries i would think that a National Socialistic policy is the best way to keep your population happy and have the wealth distribution be the most fair, without the added genocide of course.

The worst people are Upper Middle-Class pretenders because they are tryhard performers who desperately go around "HEY! Look at me: I'm RICH!" while bankrupting themselves in the process to keeping up with the Joneses.

They have HUGE status anxiety. Unlike the truly wealthy (who often lean into "stealth wealth") or the working class (who are focused on utility), the upper-middle class is often in a precarious middle ground. They are close enough to "the top" to want to mimic it, but far enough away that the cost of doing so is ruinous.
>>
>>219054688
no, dude, if you dont run a company you are middle class, question just is if you are management level upper middle class, or lower middle class working an assistant job.

Trump reduced taxes, reduced crime, eviscerated illegal-immigration, massively reduced unemployment, etc.
I'm still waiting for him to "screw me over" even one-tenth as bad as Biden and his utterly disastrous policies did.

>>
>>219054743
>but the ultimate result of a capitalistic society is that the ultra rich keeps hoarding more ressources
>hoarding

Did you mean "saving"? I.e. having something and just NOT necessarily immediately spending & squandering it.
Have you ever considered that not only is this NOT a behavior worth demonizing, but maybe even something that if YOU could learn how to do it, maybe you wouldn't be so poor in the first place???
>>

There countless examples: LVMH (Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy) and Armani scandals that broke in mid-2024. Italian prosecutors in Milan conducted an investigation into several luxury brands' supply chains. They discovered that while the products carried a high price tag, the labor conditions used to make them were often illegal and exploitative. Investigators found that Dior was paying a supplier roughly $57 (53 Euro) to produce a handbag that eventually retailed for about $2,800 (2,600 Euro).

These weren't just "cheap" factories; they were described as sweatshops within Italy itself, often staffed by undocumented migrants (frequently from China or North Africa). Workers slept in the factories, safety devices on machines were removed to speed up production, and they worked 24-hour shifts.

A Johns-Manville medical official testified that up until 1971, the company had a policy of not telling their workers if their physicals showed signs of asbestosis or asbestos-related lung cancers. And in sworn testimony, a witness recalled a meeting they had in the early 1940s with the president of Johns-Manville, asking why they weren't warning workers about asbestos. As the witness recalls it, they asked,

"Do you mean to tell me you would let them work until they dropped dead?"

To which the president replied,

"Yes, we save a lot of money that way."

No I'm one of the nicest people I've ever met. Even hold the door open for joggers and I'm also poor as shit. Having a good personality is just something you are either born with or not. It can get ground out of you to some degree but if you are an inherently nice person being poor or rich isn't going to magically make that disappear. Extremes of experience just magnify what is already inside you. They were bad people already and their extreme circumstances just brought those bad impulses to the surface.

DuPont is responsible for poisoning the planet with teflon derivatives. Teflon is not the problem, the byproducts are. There's a 99% chance that you have forever chemicals (PFAS) in your bloodstream. They don't break down naturally, meaning they accumulate in the soil, water, and our bodies over decades. These chemicals have been used in everything from firefighting foam and water-repellent clothing to food packaging and carpets. Long-term exposure has been linked by health organizations to various issues, including thyroid disease, increased cholesterol levels, liver damage, and certain types of cancer. They have hide it for decades. It is so widespread that you can find it in animals in the arctic. These chemicals travel via "oceanic conveyor belts" and atmospheric transport. They bioaccumulate, meaning they become more concentrated as they move up the food chain, which is why apex predators like polar bears have high concentrations in their tissues.

Sociopathy is high (10-15%) in the corporate world. Certain traits can be overrepresented in high-powered business settings:

Confidence and boldness: helpful for leadership and decision-making
Emotional detachment:can make tough choices (layoffs, restructuring) easier
Charm and persuasion: useful for climbing hierarchies
Risk-taking:rewarded in competitive markets

It’s debated whether corporate environments attract sociopaths or whether they create sociopathic behavior. Prolonged exposure to hyper-competitive, morally ambiguous environments can desensitize individuals, causing them to adopt sociopathic-like traits as a survival mechanism.

While an individual with sociopathic traits may rise quickly, they are often destructive to organizations in the long run. They tend to leave a trail of high employee turnover, cultural dysfunction, and ethical violations (fraud, corruption) that can ultimately destroy shareholder value.

>"Wealth-Disparities" exist because disparities in people, their abilities, etc. exist.
To a degree, but massive disparities exist because it becomes much easier to acquire wealth the more wealth you have, so shit snowballs. It's the natural endgame of the systems we have in place and it will eventually cripple any society that doesn't take steps to stop it.
>>

Yes, financial stability means you can prioritize other things and stop making sacrifices to obtain it. There's a reason most crime is commited by poor people while most charity is done by people with expendable income. It would be incomprehensible to me to kill someone for a few k, but it's a regular occurrence for brazilian hitmen. It's not unlike fighting over the last of water in a scorching desert. Poors are very insecure about this because it exposes their dire situation for what it is and that's obviously uncomfortable, but otherwise it's pretty clear for anyone rational. Never trust poors.
>>
>>219053328
kind of.

You can't prejudge someone for realities they aren't in but you can't pretend having a lot doesn't predispose you to being nicer.

There are poor nice people and rich cunts and the reality is nicer people are just objectively better than cunts in every single metric. Being grounded is great where it counts but you can be so grounded that you're miserable to be around so people won't invite you out or ever want to hang out with you because, you don't realize you're awful to be around.

Don't treat being poor as an excuse for how 'real' you are because at some point you're just using a defense mechanism to create your own problems.
>>
>>219053328
Poor people often have severe personality defects that make their lives materially worse than they need to be for no reason. I do think life is easier with money, but being poor doesn't give you carte blanche to act like a prick
