Realistically, was there any way to prevent their deaths? Should organ donors be tested for rabies? Is it even feasible?

>he lives in a country where rabies still existsLmao, it's 2026. No first world country should be having this problem.
>>219053838chubbyemu did a video on what I presume is the original case (or one very close to it). basically, yes, if rabies had been diagnosed in time, the patients who received organs could've gotten the vaxine and postexposure prophylaxis which could've saved their lives. though one of the patients only got a cornea transplant and they managed to track her down in time to remove the graft, give her treatment, and they lived. but yeah, easier to do with a cornea than a liver or kidney
I fucking hate "Doctor reacts to Scrubs"
>>219057173But the United sharts is a third world country masquerading as a first world one. So it will obviously exist there.
>>219053838you could get mega rabies from a jeet operating on you
>>219057582The US can’t be a third world country technically, since the term itself defines the US as 1st world, and the USSR as 2nd world.
>>219057662Don't be deliberately obtuse. No one uses it in the historical context these days.
