It is not supposed to make sense. But capeshit and starwars have lost their appeal due to the sheer volume of movies and series pumped out over the last few years. The algorithm indicates that video game movies are the new thing to hallow out for maximum profits.

The rest though I agree is way too much for one movie. They're blowing their load like they don't expect to make many of these. Or maybe the RPGs are next.

>>219060690These movies are just big advertisements for the games. Kids will go see this then want to play the new rereleases of the Galaxy games and/or Odyssey. The only reason Fox is in this is because a new Star Fox game is coming out this summer and Nintendo wants to get the fans talking and make sure kids know what it is.
