The Philosopher's stone isn't that long of a book and there's no way the show will surpass the movie. I don't know how many episodes they plan to make each season, but they're probably going to stretch it quite a bit for the 1st one. The casting is just terrible as well. It's like 20% okay and 80% horrible. Harry looks like a dyke. Hermione is some mystery meat goblina and Snape is obvious.
