Started watching this movie with the gf. We got 20 minutes in before changing to a different film. Is it actually good? I've been trying to find some honest reviews of it but everything seems so astroturfed.

its a mediocre thriller with very mild humor, theres about 2 good characters in the whole thing, Benicio and Penn if it wasn't obvious. Politics and racism has nothing to do with it but I will end my post saying that sheboon the story revolved around was repulsive

I liked it as a heightened action movie but as a PTA movie it's a bit of a stinker. It barley had his usual romanticism and the cynicism made it feel a lot closer to a (weaker) Coen Brother's movie. I was going to do a ranking but long story short, it came out on the very bottom (haven't seen Hard Eight)
