why is it so GOATED?
>>219090653>far-left lunatics cause the collapse of society Because it's relatable

>>219090803>well said, rabbi
>>219090788why were the (((scientists))) make an DIABOLIC EVIL RAGE VIRUS in the first place?
>>219090845>in order to cuuuure you must first understand!
>>219090845You say that like there aren't dozens of labs around the world that currently contain world ending viruses lmao
>>219090845So ((their)) useful idiots could release it and cause the collapse of society, like >>219090788 said.
>>219090653because it's the only zombie movie where it feels a bit real, and the running zombies are a much more visceral threat
>>219090653It's not. It aged horribly
>QUIET, she yelled>Hannah can't act>completely wastes Gleeson>comically evil soldiersThe second is better, the rest is wank
>no sex for one monthI would've gone crazy too
>>219091856>The second is betterTruly a retarded take. 28 weeks later is pretty much the blandest, most generic zombie film ever made. It feels like a recruitment ad for the US military most of the time. The opening scene alone is good and consequently feels totally out of place.
>>219091313They're not zombies. They're infected humans. Do you call everyone with rabies a zombie? They're not undead nor even hard to kill.
gays open anuses to erect dicks?
>>219091934Not just no sex but I'm sure the soldiers had seen some horrific shit in that one month. Watching their entire society fall and knowing it was pretty much over for everyone. He claimed he caught one of his soldiers attempting suicide which is why he put out the call to find other people and women for them. They were borderline crazy from killing infected and fighting among themselves by the time they others arrived.
>>219090653ok bros what's the /tv/erdict on the entire franchise and especially the latest entries?>28 days laterclassic>28 weeks laterretarded copy/parody, it has few decent moments but the plot just collapses on itself from the sheer stupidity of what's happening on the screen and aside from early 2010s electronic music and shitty funny .jpg gas/explosion VFX and the chopper mowing down zombies scene there's nothing remarkable about it, I would say it's even overrated considering its current score on mainstream platforms>28 years later/bone templeI kinda enjoyed both, I guess changing the formula keeps it fresh and there's supposedly the third and last movie coming, there's obviously a lot of political subtext and messagging but you know what fuck bongs you deserve it
>>219096422I like Days and Years a lot. I'm always expecting to see what visual insanity Danny's gonna make
>>219091313>because it's the only zombie movie where it feels a bit real, and the running zombies are a much more visceral threatIndeed, making them scientific "zombies" instead of magical zombies was the way to go. Of course like all zombie flicks, it mostly ignores the global macro effects of a zombiepocalypse to focus on predictable personal drama.
>>219091856NO SOLDIERS CAN'T BE EVILRAPE ISN'T REAL
>>219090653the OST on 28 years later is one of the greatest albums ever. If you disagree you're gay and wrong, and if you insult me, I'm rubber and you're glue. : )
>>219090653I watched it recently and I was stunned how bad it was. The opening when he wakes up and walks around is the only good part. The rest is a horrible road movie filled with the most embarassing contrivances and dialogue. I’m realizing lately a lot of these “classic movies” from the 90s and early 2000s are actually just shit movies that millennials liked because they were kids/teennagers when they came out.
>>219092336>They're not zombiesand that's a good thingtraditional undead zombies are a retarded concept that doesn't make any sensethe only explanation for their reanimation is straight up magic and you might as well throw dragons and wizards into the mix at that point if that's the road you're gonna go down
>>219090653I liked it, but why did the army guys go into rape mode when it's only been a month since the outbreak? They should've tried to decide which of them will actually get to marry the girls.
>>219097302I practically had that album on a loop when the film came out. Fucking banger after banger. It's rare to see a recent movie have a score complement the visuals so wellhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jRe9prWb-18
Weeks is better and I’m tired of pretending it’s not
>>219097302Too bad the movie is absolute dogshit
>>219099088Based digits confirm Days is overrated pseud shit
>>219090653>will never, ever have a high quality version because of the stupid way they filmed it>even Weeks looks pretty shitWhy'd they do it?
>>219098031I am lowkey ready to rape right now and its not an apocalypse. I saw a fat ass lady in yoga pants bending over to pick up her dogs and I got almost full mast from that and if that happens in a more chaotic time might be me ripping those off and getting busy I don't know man I am close to the edge with these new female fashions.
>>219099032them niggas and that cracker snapped on the sound track. I wish they had the sequel. that one's audio was pretty meh.
Years is such a sleeper hit it’s insane. I love the medieval theme and the Holy Island location teasing a massive invasion for the third act. The middle act of Bone Temple is a great subversion of the grounded Kelson. The way they call to both 28 Days tropes and classic zombie tropes but also reclaim themselves as this modern originator by adding the new layer is fantastic. Sampson is based. From what I understand the Third film is happening and has Danny as director again. My hope is that the plot involves Jim from 28 Days meeting with Spike and the Crazy Jimmy slut. They realize the baby on Holy Island is the key and return? Somehow we need a massive medieval infected siege on Holy Island with Sampson either defending with them or having lost his clarity after running out of morphine. We shall see. If the third act brings it all together the trilogy will be a modern epic.
>>219092336>vaxxed
>>219099116Wrong.Rate my top 5 movies:JawsTrain SpottingTaxi DriverSasquatch GangChildren of Men or 28 Years LaterI admit the the audio and visuals do extreme amounts of lifting for 28 Years Later. The kid is fine, Kelson is fine. Jimmy's brief appearance is good, the dad is good, the mom is fine. Children of Men has a similar feeling, but it's a more solid and coherent movie that's well acted, but the visuals do so much for that film.
>Years tries a bunch of really weird shit, some of it works and some doesn't, but it tries>new infected types (alphas, worm eaters), a unique OST, new locations, new characters, unique filmmaking, weird throwbacks to Medieval times, just an entirely fresh take on the franchise>followed up by Bone Temple, which doesn't try anything>same locations, mostly the same characters, forgettable OST, bland cinematography, nothing new>regresses to such an embarrassing degree that it even brings back the OG theme and Cillian MurphyI think Bone Temple was a more enjoyable movie, Years was kind of a mess, but man was it still disappointing. I hope the next one is better. Also there was maybe 3 cumulative minutes of infected in the entire movie, not counting Samson, what the hell

>>219090653Great movie, I wish they didn't film it on a toaster though. Such an eyesore, I won't believe anyone that says it's a cool aesthetic choice, 28 Days Later is one of the worst looking films in history.
