Very disappointing!I think your reaction is because its reputation preceded itself to give you the impression that it would be like a traditional comedy which wasn't its intension. The humor is how badly executed everything is but was never laugh out loud funny. It also gets unfairly labeled as the worst movie ever made when there's an infinite amount of other movies that could easily take that title. I think it's just the astroturfing of its status that put it where it is in the echelons of bad filmmaking but most definitely isn't the worst movie of all time. Plan 9's status also revolved around Ed Wood being a transvestite along with his other equally incompetent flicks Glen or Glenda and Bride of the Monster. Thinking about it, I wonder why no one has put out an Ed Wood box set with all of his movies and Tim Burton's Ed Wood?Finally, I'd like to recommend ORGY OF THE DEAD, a 1965 Horror movie written by Ed Wood, who later adapted it into a novel! Starring Criswell and with Corpse Grinders Director Ted V. Mikels working uncredited as a cinematographer and why they movie has such beautiful saturated colors.....
