Is this how gun stores really work?

imagine owning a gun store and letting yourself get shot

back then, kinda. A full-auto Uzi is almost impossible to get now, but back then it was easy and not really regulated.

>40 watt range

That's a pussy gun, gotta go 100 watt range minimum.

Aside from handing guns over to people while they can load live ammo, yes.

sort of. before they hand you a weapon for your consideration, they specifically make a point of making sure its not loaded and making sure you witness this. then they hand the weapon to you in the locked open position (slide or bolt retracted) and the magazine removed if applicable. at this point there's nothing stopping you from dropping a bullet in your pocket into that chamber. i have never entered a gun store with a metal detector at the door. however, i've also never been in a gun store where every employee isnt open carrying a handgun. in the US youre allowed to do this on private property. draw your own conclusions

40 watts is like nothing. when i'm riding a bike my average watts are around 230 and that's not even remotely close to what actual athletes put out in the 350W+ range.

a 40W gun is like trying to kill something with a lightbulb.

I never got this. Why would he close early just cause he got one customer? Was he a one sale a day kind of guy? How did he get enough money to support himself with just that?

>Your confidence in your ability to command customers not to load ammunition into your display weapons is unfounded.
>>
>hey you can't do that
>>
>>219108354
He was joking that the guy was going to buy literally all of his stock, no point staying open if you've got nothing left to sell.
>>
>>219103891
maybe its actually kilowatts but they use watts as a shorthand, like how people say calories instead of kilocalories
