What a weird movie
I saw a clip of this last night so I looked it up. Looks pretty gay.
it was kino, the women are pretty hot and he has a cool accent, better than nosferatu's
Dracula is overplayed. It's surprising that FFC was able to make a decent one in the 90s.

It obviously massively rips off Bram Stoker's Dracula to the point Vlad's love interest bears the same name even though she wasn't even in the book.Parts of it also looked like a comedy/parody (like Vlad trying to commit suicide) and Besson also rips off elements from Beauty and the Beast and The Perfume that feel completely out of place.
Besson is a fraud. His whole career he has never been able to come up with an original idea, always ripping off other, better things

Coppola’s movie added a major plot point of Dracula becoming undead because his wife or whatever died and then finding her reincarnated in the 1800s. Besson’s movie ripped that off wholesale and tried to say he’s the first person to adapt that plot from the book.
