>Tombstone is the main villain of the movie. He wants to capture Sadie Sink's character so he can use her telepathic powers to make him unstoppable. He has Damage Control in his pocket and is manipulating everything behind the scenes.>Spider-Man has been online stalking MJ and Ned for a while. He sees MJ is having a party at her new apartment and goes to see her but feels alone as nobody knows who he is so he goes back to his own apartment. MJ and Ned comment on feeling deja vu for him but brush it off (left open whether they could potentially remember what happened or if they've just seen Parker a lot because he's stalking them).>When Peter does get back to his apartment he gets a random dizzy spell. It's shown earlier in the movie too that he has been feeling weird but basically just brushing it off.>Scorpion/Boomerang/Tarantula are basically all just hired muscle for Tombstone. Tarantula and Boomerang are pretty much useless, getting beaten easily by Spider-Man at the beginning of the movie. Tombstone has the Hand attack the prison Mac Gargan is in to free him. Gargan is given the Scorpion suit to capture Sadie Sink for Tombstone and kill Spider-Man.>Peter goes back to his apartment exhausted after fighting the Hand. He falls asleep immediately then wakes up hanging outside in a cocoon. He falls out of the cocoon and realizes he has organic webbing now. He wonders what's going on until eventually he feels something happening with his now heightened spider sense.
>Some damage control goons find the apartment Sadie Sink's character is at. Spider-Man arrives. Spider-Man goes there but isn't sure exactly what's going on. He had spoken to the leader of Damage Control earlier who said Sadie Sink was dangerous, but Spider-Man also sees damage control being unnecessarily violent towards the other apartment occupants and also notices Punisher there facing off against damage control. He decides to just stop both of immobilize everyone until he knows what's happening. He then goes to Sadie Sink and she reveals that she knows who he is and basically tells him to fuck off but then Scorpion attacks. Scorpion fights Spider-Man but then after Punisher enters and starts helping Spider-Man, Tombstone tells Scorpion to just grab Sadie Sink and leave, upsetting Scorpion.>Punisher is pissed about what's happened as he was protecting Sadie Sink, telling Spider-Man she was just an innocent kid who has these powers that others want to control. Peter understands but then randomly collapses on the ground. Punisher asks if he's ok and Peter decides to see what's happening.>Peter goes to see Bruce Banner at one of his lectures. After the lecture he tells him he's Spider-Man and that he needs help. Peter basically explains his origin story to him then Bruce does some tests and finally comes to the conclusion that he's going to either die or turn into some kind of monster like the Hulk. >Tombstone has Sadie Sink captured and basically tells her she's in a secure facility and that because of the devices him and his goons are wearing they can't control her.>Randomly Bruce starts Hulking out and going crazy. There's a big fight between him and Spider-Man. Eventually tanks show up to try and stop Hulk. Sadie Sink ends up controlling one of the tanks and leading it into the place she's being held and she ends up freeing herself. Hulk is eventually brought down after the mind control wears off and he comes to realize the damage he's done.
>Spider-Man, beaten up by Hulk and also depressed, goes to tell MJ and Ned the truth. He finds MJ but Ned isn't here. He tells her that they used to know each other and that he's going to die and he just wanted to let her know everything that happen. MJ is just kinda taken aback and doesn't believe him, thinking of him as insane.>Spider-Man goes back to his apartment where Ned is there. Peter is confused but tries to talk to him until he realizes Ned is under the control of Sadie Sink's character. She tells him to go to some building if he wants to find out what's really going on. He says no but then she threatens his friends and forces him to. >Spider-Man gets there and sees Punisher who was also told to go there. They realize this is the headquarters of Tombstone. They fight the goons but Spider-Man is struggling, clearly weakened. >Tombstone sees what's happening and orders Scorpion to protect him but Scorpion doesn't care and goes to fight Spider-Man instead. Scorpion throws Spider-Man like 50 stories into the street. Spider-Man struggles to keep up with Scorpion until he embraces the mutation and grows 4 more arms. He pummels Scorpion, ripping apart his suit, and almost kills him before coming to his senses at the very end. >The now 6 armed Spider-Man crawls up to the top floor, where Punisher has also just made it to. They go in to fight Tombstone where Boomerang and Tarantula surprise attack Punisher, incapacitating him. Spider-Man also falls over, as the mutation is close to finishing. >Tombstone grabs him and almost throws him off the building but then a bunch of spiders come in and eat Tombstone/Tarantula/Boomerang alive>Sadie Sink is revealed as Spider Queen. She says she was manipulating everything the whole movie and now she can take over NYC. She also reveals she was the made Peter start mutating.>Spider-Man then transforms into Man-Spider and begins hunting Punisher. Punisher refuses to use lethal force and instead tries to talk sense into him.
>Peter, inside his own mind, communicates with the spider side of him. The spider part of him says he's been neglecting the Man part of Spider-Man and that's why this happened. Peter agrees and the spider side agrees to reincarnate him, both becoming different halves of the same body, similar to what Bruce said about how he got Hulk under control. Though before Peter is reborn he's warned that if the balance between his heroism and personal life is thrown out again then this will happen again. >Peter emerges from inside Man-Spider's body right before he's about to kill Punisher and together they take down Spider Queen.>At the end of the movie Peter decides to go to college and live his life, moving on from his past and meeting new people>In the post credit scene Spider-Man wakes up in his apartment, only to look outside and see everyone has spider powers and that Spider Queen is now "Queen of Spider Island", likely setting up Spider Island as a subsect of Battleworld in Secret Wars.

Spider Queen reveal works way better if she’s been subtly nudging everything the whole time. the dizzy spells, the mutation, the Hand prison break chaos - make it all part of her “stress him until he breaks” experiment. if they actually committed to the body horror and didn’t quip every 30 seconds this could be the first genuinely *weird* MCU Spider-Man movie. they won’t do it. but I’d watch it.
