There isn't even a way of telling anyone it's your idea or getting any sort of validation, notoriety or accreditation for your ideas. The backrooms movie is hitting projections of ~ $150 million in the box office yet the anons that posted the original image and made up the backstory are probably impoverished neets. They don't even get a free ticket to see their ideas on the big screen. Honestly, if that happened to me, I would go crazy.

If you go looking back through history, you will find that many of the most famous movies/shows/comics/etc are very derivative of something older that lacked the right kind of refinement to make it world famous.
