I've always been surprised by the fact that we've never gotten a Clone Wars style show set between episodes 4 and 5. There's a 3-year time jump between those films, same amount of time between episodes 2 and 3. Seems like a no brainer to me. Why haven't they done this?

Disney never cared about the OT at all (beyond the very marketable Darth Vader), they've had a woker version of OT with a girl to push. There wasn't even even original trilogy content in the Disney World

That's a pretty bad depiction of Luke. He's not supposed to be some gigachad with extremely broad shoulders. That bodytype would be more fitting of Han, but even with him I think it would go too far.

They don't want to do a story with the original characters post A New Hope because if it's not as good as the OT fans might not have the same reverence for them. The most they'll do is have Obi-Wan and Darth Vadar meet so they can duke it out for a bit but nothing of consequence will happen.

It would be cool to see a series where Luke's force powers are still limited and he's forced to utilize his blaster and lightsaber interchangeably. That could be cool to see.
