I hate when the camera zooms way close into the face of person and they arent the same race as me. It triggers something within me that is much deeper than my opinion on an actor or even my desired perception of myself. It basically forces me to accept racism at a physical level which proves the chuds ontologically victorious in all arguments. You cant zoom in on someone's face and force, with 100% dependability, my body into a phisological reaction that proves race communism to be good. It's just not possible. I feel that directors do not intend to, like, physically force me to accept racism, and that this is a mistake or unintended consequence. I treat black people fine and interact with blacks professionally and I never experience anything approaching discomfort or physical rejection, they are just dudes who are around. But they experience of watching the camera get way up into some (perfectly fine) black actors sweaty nose and lips so that I see the pores on their cheeks and the pink bits at the inside of their eyeballs- holy fuckin moley, it wigs me the fuck out. I can't do anything about that, its literally not my choice.... Someone who thinks they are curing racism is making a giant mistake. If you take the sensation im describing and you multiplied it by millions, that is horrifying pantshitting stuff. If I were black and I understood this physical experience Im describing and the trigger to it I would want hollywood to stop it immediately. Its not like anyone really wants this level of HD closeup in general- could probably just stop doing it in general and observe a seemingly unrelated improvement in race relations across the board.
