What ever happened to Bradley Cooper? The strong, silent type. That is an American.
>>219153728He was gay, Bradley cooper?
>>219153728Didn’t he get bogged?
>>219153870He was bogged, Bradley cooper?
Getting bogged, whatever happened there..
>>219153728He pissed me off in Is This Thing On. His character was fucking insufferable. Great foil to Will Arnett's character.
>>219154291he's a good actor which is why his emboggening is frustrating, it'll make his roles inauthentic from now on
>>219153728peaked in The Hangover. the leonard bernstein biopic was embarrassing
>>219153728Silving Linings is over a decade ago. It's the only decent film he's in. Now he's just an over acting methodcow. Thta has to teach himself conducting for years just to produce an oscar bait that flopped
>>219154558>PAGING DOCTOR FAGGOT
>>219154376He directed that one, so I think he willingly took the shit role to make Will Arnett shine. Not totally necessary since Arnett is a great actor, too.
>>219153728He's a straight white Christian nationalist and Jews hate that so they don't cast him
>>219155012whatever happened there
>>219154222WHATEVER HAPPENED THERE???
>>219153728Being an American is being fat, entitled, and stupid
>>219157183You can’t have both.
>>219153728He was a brave hollywood actor, and on this board he's a hero, end of story
>>219153728I wonder why did I think he was French.
>>219157731sacre bleu where is me mama
>American>Strong?>Silent????????????????????????
>>219157875Im all three of these
>>219153728>What ever happened to Bradley Cooper?Bradley Cooper decided it was high time he won himself some Oscars. So he took it upon himself to write, direct and star in a biopic about Leonard Bernstein, some composer no one really gives a shit about. The movie bombed disastrously, grossing a total of $300,000 on a budget of $80 million. It won Cooper a total of zero Oscars and didn't even manage to net one measly Golden Globe. For Cooper, it was entirely over.
>>219158159yeah this was the most try hard pure oscar bait movie I’ve ever seen
>>219158159COOP NO
>>219158159damn, FOUR BRADLEY COOPER credits
>>219158345BRADLEY COOPER proudly presents a BRADLEY COOPER production written by BRADLEY COOPER directed by BRADLEY COOPER starring BRADLEY COOPER in a BRADLEY COOPER film by BRADLEY COOPER
>>219158159whatever happened there
He's not a lead.
>>219158714This. Rocket is his best character and his voice is so mutated that you can't even tell it's him which defeats the entire purpose of putting someone famous in the role but w/e fuck jews fuck israel ty.
>>219158203Movies like that will never be nominated again. Thank God. Story is not about minorities and doesn't feature minorities in roles and whatever else they need for the Oscars
>>219157918Holy based.
Bradley Pooper I call him, man's got buns of steel
>>219158871demonstrated in Wedding Crashers
>>219154923Yes I'm here
>>219159134https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Uus6hjKA7U
>>219154818Even Silver Linings was kind of shite
>>219153870He took the call?
>>219160265NOOO!! are you listening to me??
>>219157731maybe you heard him speak french, he's fluent
>>219158159Maestro is post-#metoo. Bernstein was the Kevin Spacey/Harvey Weinstein of classical music. Tár came out a year before Maestro and is a scathing commentary on what if a lesbian pulls a Leonard Bernstein psycho sex pest thing, with Lenny being her conducting idol. Bradley Cooper glosses over the prolific sex pest stuff in Maestro a year later. Why he chose to make a film about the prototype for Lydia Tár post-#metoo is baffling. Kevin Spacey didn’t get away with it career wise after he was exposed, what made Cooper think Hollywood would forget Tár, *and* forgive Bernstein?
>>219157164GO BACK TO BOGSVILLE COCKSUCKER
>>219158159>80m -> 300kFucking hell bros that's brutalAnyone seen the flick and can comment on it?
>>219158159>some composer no one really gives a shit about. Bernstein is one of the most famous music conductors of the 20th century, but the pool of people who give a shit about that is a dying upper class elite who were around when he was alive and some classical music enthusiasts, neither group would be inclined to watch some midwits biopic of him
>>219163977Nah I'm not watching that trash
>>219153870Boggedly Cooper
>>219164008>one of the most famousNo one has heard of him
>>219164105Efron vibes
>>219153728He tried and failed to be the white Takeshi Kitano
Ruins your ryan gosling kino
>>219163977I've seen it. Just kidding, no one watched it.
>>219163977That's because it was on Netflix with only a few theater openings. it wasn't a theater only film.
>>219158159>The movie bombed disastrously, grossing a total of $300,000 on a budget of $80 millionBecause it was released in only like eight (8) theatres in the USA to qualify for awards. It's literally a Netflix movie.
>>219163977$80 million sounds like a lot, but Netflix makes around $3.25 billion in revenue per month. Why would they care if it bombs at the box-office?
>>219164311>>219164583>>219164613No one gives a shit Bradley.
>>219158159>The movie bombed disastrouslyIt's a Netflix movie that only released in a few theatres so it could say it's not a TV film. It has good reviews, also>Cooper's use of a large prosthetic nose to portray Bernstein, who was Jewish, was criticized by some as an example of "Jewface">some composer no one really gives a shit about.TV made him famous, generations of musicians and music enthusiasts watched his lessons.
>>219164852Jesus christ Bradley, let it go.
>>219164311>>219164583>>219164613>>219164852HEY BRADLEY COOPERHOW COME YOU HAVEN'T GOT ANY OSCARS?LIKE, NOT EVEN ONE?OUCH, SUCKS TO BE YOU DUDE
>>219164106the average person can list exactly two historical composers
>>219164911>>219164867That ain't me, and the movie got me, I mean him, got him some huh... "Satellite Awards"?
Top kek is Bradley Cooper actually having a meltdown on /tv/?Maybe he's one of those celebrities who obsessively googles himself and he found this thread. I know he's famously butthurt about Maestro flopping so I wouldn't be at all surprised.
>>219164954Yes, it is I, Bradley Cooper. I went gay with Matt Bomer and I can't even get respect for it on /tv/?
>>219165047Ignore this impostor, for I am the real Bradley Cooper! Bask in my genius film "Maestro" and bow down to me you disgusting plebeian garbage.
>>219165047>>219165122Bradley Cooper here, yes it is true I am a massive homo
>>219164954Hello, hi, it's me Bradley Cooper. You can call me B-rad if you prefer. I'm here to tell you that the only movie of mine that I actually like is Wedding Crashers
>>219165160Sup B-Rad. I hear you're a massive homo. Can you confirm these rumors?
>>219165199No! I'm very straight! I love the same things as all you straight men, like light beer, broadway musicals, women's bosoms, etc. Here's a question for you: if I were a filthy homosexual, why did I turn down Ken Jeong when he propositioned me on the set of the Hangover?
>>219153728>The fat, loud type. That is an American.FTFY kid
>>219165249Damn this B-Rad guy sounds a bit zesty
Why do people here dislike Cooper? I think he's got real screen charisma, he's especially good at got comedic-manic-brash roles (Crashers, SLP, Hustle, Licorice Pizza). He also did real well as an "auteur debutante" on ASIB. It's been a while since he's starred in anything good though and the boggening is really quite regrettable, dude should've let himself age gracefully.
>>219154923>Maybe you're a fag. You ever think about that?
>>219164008>neither group would be inclined to watch some midwits biopic of himkek
>>219161668>*and*
>>219158159But... he was... LE ACTING!
>>219165673Because he's a tryhard. He's a good looking, charismatic, likeable Hollywood actor who works well in comedy, action drama etc but he think he's some Thespian who needs to make some intellectual masterpiece. He's a phony.
>>219167158Nothing wrong with that. I'm glad someone's tryharding in an industry full of sloppa.
>>219167176I disagree, nothing good ever comes out of it. You either got it or you don't.
>>219167158I think his trying hard payed off handsomely in A Star Is Born, however the bits of Maestro I've seen didn't impress me>>219158159>>219167150REINING IT IN
>>219158159How asshurt do you think Bradley was that he won zero Oscars and zero Golden Globes for A Star is Born but that Lady Gaga won 1 Oscar and 2 Golden Globes from it. Even if the Oscar was just for the music, it's a factually correct statement to say that Lady Gaga has an Oscar and Bradley Cooper doesn't.
>>219167751>Gaga won an Oscar>Cooper didn'tOuch
>>219153728He works in a food truck in NYC
>>219167881one was an extra on the sopranos and the other one wasn’t.
I can’t take him as a serious actor
>>219169275Being an extra on the Sopranos is more prestigious than anything Cooper has ever done.
whatever happened there
>>219168061Like Ben stiller and his soda?
>>219153728Based bogdanoff
>>219161668Creatives are always “sex pests.” It’s a sign of a healthy soul. As long as they don’t rape it’s fine.
>>219154818Best Philly rep since Hall & Oates.>>219155012Stop straight-washing him
>>219172645Yup, my roommate in college was in theater the whole time we were there, the director of his troupe would pick and fuck a different girl, usually the lead, every year. Wasn't subtle about it either and would go hard at the beginning of the year to bully all the cast and crew into submission.
>>219153728I think he saw franco getting cancelled and didn't want to end up as hollywood sex pest who made some retarded comedy films
>>219175256>continuously pressure woman for dates and “consensual” sex >eventually she gives in just to shut you upThis is rape btw.
>>219175365i wasn't privy to the details as I never bothered to go see any of the plays, also my roommate was lovesick with this one girl (the reason he enrolled in the troupe in the first place) who ended up sleeping with the director our last year so he might have embellished it although that was the directors reputation on campus so i dunno. Dude looked like Gaspard Ulliel if you know who that is, but with a Willem Dafoe intense wordless stare.I mostly kept my head down and drunk in college so I only learned about how teachers were fucking students all the time by my third year.
>>219153728He works behind the scenes now.
>>219154376Nigger all these people who are "great actors" literally play the same person over and over again, which is basically an inflated version of themselves.
No more questions.
>>219165249I mean, Ken Jeong? If I was gay and I looked like you B-rad I would aim a bit higher, have some pride for god's sake.
>>219165160>>219165249>>219178086
>>219167158every actor who has had some real success goes for an Oscar at least once, Cooper had three shots I can remember and two were alright movies.
>>219172104nah, unless he's doing it as promo for some cheesesteak sauce (is that a thing?) or branded food trucks it doesn't make sense
>>219178189That’s a thing?
>>219164175he made BRADLEY’S CASTLE??
>>219153728When's this kid gonna get married and settle down?
Look at the chemistry between these two lovebirds.
>>219183000His eyes are very unsettling.
>>219153728His greatest role was playing a gentile in real life.
Only good movie he ever did was Wedding Crashers
>>219185711Hangover 2
>>219185711In other words, he is a WEAK ASS NIGGA?
he went all out to be taken seriously for that stupid biopic film and then slunk back to voice acting a racoon
>>219185795what did he expect
>>219186012an Oscar
