Also the little air gun that spewed hell fire was creative as fuck.What Sliders had going for it was a quality ensemble of charismatic performers going on goofy weekly adventures. It was comfy.For some reason writers end up writing Rick and Morty episodes when tasked with coming up with fun inter dimensional escapades. See 'Black Science' comics or that horrid slop starring the chink hag that plays space Hitler in Star Trek.

A good Sliders movie is one of the few things that could get me back into a cinema now. I even thought about writing a screenplay myself.A group of Slider scientists are exploring the universe when they have their slider control thing stolen by guys who go slidin randomly around the universe with it, until the thieves run into an alternate version of the original group, who happened to have slid into the same world. The scientists become suspicious when it becomes clear these new guys don't know the science (but they sure know how to slide in style)...
