About a year ago, I made a Bill and Ted reference to a young couple and the two didn't even know what I was talking about. I wasn't even born when the film came out but I still know it. Why are zoomers unable to watch anything made before y2k?

Bill And Ted's Excellent Adventure was filmed on a big ass camera machine like a fucking car, and the images were recorded on some kind of plastic tape, and they had to fucking hump them around to movie theaters and play them on another big ass machine. It's caveman shit.
You might argue that movies were better back then, but the younger generation is literally and demographically mostly fat and/or autistic and were raised by reddit and tiktok. They are much closer to what we used to call retards than they are to what we used to call normal human children. They are not capable of understanding that entertainment can be good or bad in meaningful ways and would have no idea why anyone would care. So they're certainly not going to use their precious 14 hours a day of screen time to look shit up.
