Serious Ratatouille posting hat on guys. I recently watched Ratatouille for the first time after watching Finding Nemo for the first time with my kids. I enjoyed that it didn't go for endless tragedy like Finding Nemo. Ratatouille was comfortable. And had zero in niggers it.

I finally watched this movie after only seeing the memes. I had no idea the rat had a backstory, I thought it was just like Jiminy Cricket and gave him the confidence to sing a song and learn to cook better. All the shit bolted onto the plot was weird as fuck. Even the way they introduced the guy was stupid, he messes with the food and they ask him why and he just goes "I don't know!" Like at no point in the movie does he learn to love food the way the rat does.Janeane Garofalo is the only person in the movie speaking in a French accent, and the love story is just he forces a kiss on her and then 5 minutes later she's defending him from the press like he's her future. Then, at the end of the movie, the restaurant serves both humans and rats and it's cool? I mean aren't humans slaughtering and poisoning rats in the entire rest of the world? It's hard to express why that ending was so unsatisfying and weird. Like what the fuck happens when they try to have a rat restaurant? Isn't that a more compelling idea than the movie? And what did the rat learn? His shitty family is OK and can have some food?
Someone become the legend, post it!
>>219185584Let's not post it.
A big nosed French qt gf sticking a zucchini up my ass and milking me on the table, I wonder how that would feel lol haha that would be crazy
>>219185445it was funny the first two times and that’s it

>>219183826>How will the sequel address the fact that France is predominantly Muslim?Muslim? I thought it was full of black gentlemen.
>>219183626It probably just doesn't work conceptually. There's some interesting ideas they could explore - the everyday stress of running a small business, what happens after you achieve your dreams, improving your craft. The main dynamic of the first film though was the tension of people not realizing Remy was doing the cooking. If that's gone, and that's just accepted knowledge for the main characters, you really just end up with a Dreamworks film - funny animal does thing animals normally don't do. And that's probably true of just about any sequel concept you could come up with. There's no real backstory to shape a greater epic narrative out of. Maybe a road film? Remy goes to Tokyo to learn to make sushi? Dreamworks. It's sort of a quintessential happy ending of a film in that all the conflict and tension is gone.
>>219183626>>219186727The sequel will explore the downfall of Remy and his lamentation after years of controlling humans' pubes to give them orgasms and make them rape each other. Also Mario will do drugs.
>>219185526The ending simply doesn't work. I wanted to see linguini learning how to cook instead of ending up as some disposable nobody waiter that is hired only because he's friends with the actual cook. Kind like a walter white/jesse pinkman "if you don't hire him, i will not cook for you" scenario
>Rectal pain
>>219183626>Rata2ille: Best Served Cold>linguine (remy) enters a major cooking competition >attacked by animal-rights environmental terrorists>linguine shot dead>remy discovers he can still manipulate him post-mortem>remy must rescue the hostages before rigor mortis sets in>kills the terrorist leader (who suspiciously wears a top-hat)>leader comes back from dead because he is also being ratatouilled
