i'd do it just to see what happens
>>219205464Fuck no. Eternal life sounds fucking miserable.
>>219205495couldnt you just like delete yourself or something?
it being a copy (yes u can argue ur also copy from urself one game tick ago, and million other things, so should be meaningless, but still it feels more like a copy in this case, emotionally) we'd both just do our own thing. i'd continue being meat body and other one would probably go to alpha centauri or alien router in some pepsi can sized spaceship (accelerando reference)
>>219205587I don't think so.
>>219205464probably not since it seemed to involve just killing yourself and then the copy of you lives in the digital paradise.if I could transfer to it, sure, but that's not really what happened. I guess I'd do it if I was about to die anyway so the clone of me could have a good time
>>219205644>>219205587Pantheon let the AI ciopies kill themselves, they could even make them have a random timer when they die instantly so they don't know when it happens.
>>219205464The first season of this was pretty good slow-burning sci-fi with some occasionally horrifying ideas and visuals. Then somehow the second season became Dragonball Z ki blast slop in a virtual world, choosing to rush through a couple of really huge sci-fi concepts in the latter half of the final episode. Bizarre series.
>>219206355it was really funny how the show went from being a sci-fi thriller to just full on anime shit
