Looking back and rewatching it, I'll admit that I was unfair and unjust to this show at the time of its original run.
Those first 2 seasons were really bad though.I'll admit that at first this colored my opinion of the latter 2 which were markedly improved but that doesn't really make up for it.

>>219233036They needed to to a better job establishing the whole "Vulcans are assholes and not like the Vulcans everyone knows" thing, that they didnt fix until the final season.The hamfisted 9/11 allegory in the middle of everything dated it much more than Klingons = Soviet Union of the TOS era.Other than that it was pretty good.
