ITT: Mainstream actors you don't see the appeal of.

Will Ferrell has never been funny in his entire life. Elf, Old School, and that movie with John Reilly (step brothers?) are just horrendously unfunny.
>>
he hasn't been a mainstream actor in over a decade
>>
are comedians mainstream actors?
like the only serious rolls of his are everything must go and stranger than fiction?
he has a good history of not breaking during sketches which is probably a lot of it

You're both just giving me a hard on
>>
Will Ferrell made Anchorman, Step Brothers, Talladega Nights so he could do shit for the rest of his life he’ll still be a cornerstone in comedic movies like Sandler. I guess there’s Elf also.

This guys career is dead all he does in PayPal commercials now

yea it's hard to keep up the manchild act when you're a melting old grizzled geezer
>>
Elf as a movie sucks and I'm amazed it still has cultural relevance despite being a subpar Christmas movie
>>
Anchorman was funny.

Theo von and his yokel adlibs are absolute clownshoes after the first dozen times. His bullshit questioning g of trump after he started getting called out by his fans outside the rogansphere is also disingenuous. Cannot believe famous people show up to that dorks podcast.

I've never really understood the Elf love. I love Stepbrothers and Talladega. Anchorman and Elf are both just okay for me. I'm not upset if someone suggests watching it during Christmas time but there are a dozen others I'd rather watch.

Jack Black, Kevin Costner, Russell Brand, Jared Leto, Sandra Bullock, oh shit how could I forget Donald Glover, worst of them all. People kept trying to tell me that Atlanta was good but it's impossible for me to buy him as some struggling, street adjacent anything. He's every black theater kid stereotype and that's all he comes across as in every role.

He was funny in Zoolander. The rest of your post I agree with

What is Atlanta about? In one sentence. I want to see if I should watch it
