Were smoking kids okay in the 60s?
>>
all children should smoke
>>
>>219250285
Kids these days love vapes.
>>
>>219250220
In the south it was tradition for as long as cigarettes have had widespread accessibility.
>>
Even in the 90s, the cool kids were seen as the ones who were already smoking cigarettes and smoking marijuana, being rebellious/doing adult things.

Glad we made shitty smoking a stigma now.
>>
>>219250312
It's why they're all gay. They need to be smoking cigarettes.

young people are very vulnerable to propaganda. Cigarettes were the most heavily advertised products until TV ads were banned in the early 70s. Hollywood promoted cigarettes in movies until the end of the 20th century and is responsible for millions of deaths. More than the Nazis who launched some of the earliest anti cigarette campaigns in the 1930s.

Incidents of lung cancer haven’t decreased with number of smokers, at least for women. Which is rather odd. Although women always smoked less. A few cigs a day prolly doesn’t do much to change any.

We need smoking to make a comeback. Zoomers lack masculinity.
>>
>>219251372
smoking doesnt make you look manly or tough
it makes manly and tough guys look manly and tough
you just look like a fat autist killing himself
>>
My grandma was 11 during ww2. Her country went on rations and her ration was for either a chocolate bar or 2packs of smokes. She chose the smokes
>>
>>219252083
Smoking itself makes you masculine and tough. Looking masculine and tough is a natural result.

associating cigarettes with being tough, cool or individualistic was manufactured by advertising and Hollywood. Edward Bernays worked to make more women smoke by associating it with female political activists like suffragettes and feminists. Associating it with freedom and emancipation the way female promiscuity and race mixing is encouraged by media now. Its similar to the way every advertisement and news show has a white woman and black man.

>>219255073
So? Anon isn’t wrong
>>
>>219250220
>kids smoking bad
>trooning out kids good
Kids obv shouldn’t smoke but it’s vile how the jews who make garbage like this try to smear the good old days when society was functional and pretend this hellscape we live in isn’t an unsustainable, polluting pedo dystopia.
>>
>>219255073
wigger, the whole racism movement together with your 'race-mixing' term is manufactured by the same people who run hollywood. nationalism and racism is the capitalism's ultimate way of controlling masses and diverting attention. no I'm not advocating smoking, I'm not that anon.
>>
>>219255284
There's no better example of this than the shift in national politics following Occupy.
>>
>>219250220
what do you mean by okay?
there was a time in the not too distant past you could send your 5 year old into the store to grab you a pack of smokes.
it wasn't until early 90s that age restrictions were on purchasing them, and it's not illegal to consume tobacco at any age, if law enforcement sees a 10 year old smoking it's not like they can legally charge them with anything.
>>
>>219255073
the thing that really pisses me off about vapes is these disposable vapes. there is absolutely zero reason for these things to exist, its a waste of time and money and gives you an extra opportunity to litter the streets with even more garbage
>>
>>219251162
Taking your assertion at face value, I'd imagine that a whole heck of a lot less people are self-reporting their smoking when asked these days .
>>
>>219255570
Honestly I just think the 2000 nuclear bomb tests were probably bad for us
>>
>>219250330
Nah. Smoking was gay in the 90's. If you smoked in the 90's it meant you had weak will and thus endorsed anal sex. Every dog and it's god knew that smoking causes aids. So kids didn't do it. Unless they had the willpower of an entire pridemarch.
>>
>>219255629
Automobile emissions (not CO2) are also really bad for you. Thankfully, that's getting better in Europe and America.
>>
>>219255712
I highly doubt it. More people = More CO2 emissions. Or "COONs" if you will.
>>
>>219255073
Smoking also kept you thin. We banned smoking and look how fat everyone got!

I guess vapes are OUT with young actresses. And sadly, skinny ciggies are en vogue rn.

And can guess why. Vaping is for little girls and smoking Capris in 2026 is for serious adult actresses.
>>
>>219255797
So ban food.

In the 50s and 60s every kid smoked, my grandad didn't have any money so he'd roll up corn husks and smoke that (no idea what he put in it)
>>
>>219254110
You’re very young and/or smoke a few cigarettes a week. Just stop lying, faggot. I used to smoke and do mma and jogged several hours a week but I wasn’t putting away a pack a day. A cigarette here and there is fine. I never trained with ANYONE who had any respectable amount of cardio/stamina and was a regular smoker. Many fighters chew because it doesn’t affect cardio. I’m also telling you that you hit your 40’s and shit you used to be able to get away with, you just won’t anymore. Everyone thinks they’re exempt because of outlying cases. It likes the lottery, yeah someone has to win but it’s not going to be you.
>>
>>219256984
Who tf smokes a pack a day that sounds kind of retarded. Never understood how people can do that shit. I max 3 or 4. Any more and it doesn’t even feel good.

As for keeping the windows of the car up while smoking that's how they did it in that day and age.
