Is the new gosling flick any good?
>>
It's good if you go in expecting it to be like a modern version of E.T. if you're expecting high brow Oppenheimer tier shit you'll be disappointed.
>>
>>219261409
Oppenheimer was high brow? Didn't know that.
>>
>>219261115
ask one of the other ten threads
>>
>>219261115
I didn't watch but /tv/ already confirmed it to be reddit so no.
>>
>>219261481
Some people see scenes with naked people and immediately think "high brow"
>>
>>219261481
It's a simpleton's idea of high brown. That's Nolan's brand.
>>
>>219261115
It feels like a 90s sci fi thriller with a joss whedon script so take that for what you will
>>
>>219261409
Fpbp
>>
>>219261115
It's reddit
>>
>>219261917
I can accept that, Speed was kino.
>>
I enjoyed it but I was in one of those seats that shake and I allowed myself an icee, so my experience might not be universal.
>>
>>219261115
it was boring as fuck but well made and goose did his best to save it, talking animal movies are just a dogshit genre
>>
>>219261767

Thank you for overlooking my typo
>>
>>219264029
Well you were probably thinking of shit at the time when you were thinking of Hack Nolan's films, so understandable ....
>>
>>219261115
It's good, and as usual he's literally me.
Just keep in mind the dude is a broke loner elementary science teacher who doesn't remember anything and not an astronaut and everything will make sense.
>>
>>219265565
I'm aware of the premise, and my brain is capable of retaining information for an extended period of time, so remembering won't be a problem for me! I appreciate your concern.
>>
>>219265616
You'd be surprised at how many people expected Grace to act like an astronaut despite one of the first traits the movie establishes about him being that he isn't one.
That's just one of many details that the movie clearly states which I've seen people miss entirely.
People are fuckin stupid and have the attention span of a goldfish.
>>
>>219265796
I can believe that. Maybe they just watched the other Ryan Gosling astronaut movie, I forgot what it's called, and they thought it was about the same guy.
>>
>>219261115
It's literally The Martian 2 Electric Buggaloo.
>>
>>219261115
Its entertaining but its nothing amazing. The practical effects are really nice. It has a lot of sci fi jargon which can be kind of boring at times but that's just me.

A lot of nerds were actually pissed that they left some jargon from the book out which is hilarious.
>>
Its very good. I went in blind thinking it was going to be a shit chris prat tier movie but it was good.
