>>219277733pretty much the moment Netflix got exclusive rights to stream JoJo they switched the release for stone ocean to batches instead of one episode every friday, this resulted in binging for a day or two, months no content, repeat which not only proved to be annoying but ruined discussion, for the recent release of the steal ball run adaptation they somehow made a worse system where they released one long episode, and then the next part is whenever (as in they only stated it will come sometime this year with not even the director knowing when it will come out) which has caused the current backlash ops pic talks about

>>219277879honestly as a JJBA manga reader from over 10 years ago? Fucking based by Netflix. SBR follows the universal reboot. Has an entirely different artstyle and narrative structure than previous JJBA parts. Part 1 through 6 are shonen, 7-9 are seinen manga. Basically 7-9 are geared to a more mature audience and SBR was Araki reinventing the series. The structure of the episodes and the release cadence altering entirely is actually the anime matching the energy of the manga. I am cool with this. Nu-JJBA fans seem to be very gay from what I can tell compared to us oldfags.
>>219277879So? When its out it’ll be out
>>219278117Part 9 has no structure and no definable villains, it's already Netflix levels of wokeAll we can go off of for Akka is that the reboot antagonists' stand powers follow a general theme of being a solution to the way a main villain of the past universe was defeated
wrong board, /co/ is for discussing cartoons
So the next episode is going to be a movie too?
>>219277879Who gives a shit about discussion? It's all either third worlders, ragebait, or both
