Despite knowing the lyrics by memory it wasn't until singing along to them as an adult that it sunk it just how fucked up they are. Filmmakers and creatives used to have talent and that's how they were able to implement their propaganda subtly or dressed up in deceptive and appealing manners. Nowadays they just bluntly beat you over the head with it.
