the detective spells out the message of the movie - "the world sucks so just bend over like a good goy and take it up the ass", except he's an old bald doormat with a crazy fat dragonlady wife who is implied to have killed their daughter, so nobody takes him seriously and everyone just remembers the based moments with d-fens

>>219288714D-fens isn't a role model and the movie makes that excruciatingly clear, to the point where they literally have him bewilderdly state--out loud--that he's the bad guy in the film's climactic scene. If you have any respect for film critics (doubtful) and you're trying to get rid of it, go read some reviews for this film and watch how spectacularly almost all of them miss that incredibly obvious point. Roger Ebert of all people was one of the few critics who actually got the movie.
