>>219323664Everyone does that, it's the pretending the shampoo bottle is an award kind of thing. Each one of us has a slightly different version. For me it's an oldshool armchair interview in which I lay out my brilliant worldview in detail, though for some girl it might be about wearing the best dress to a gala. Either way, the fantasy is always similar: people care about you, they want you, they want to be with you and they want to praise you.Fantasies play a role in our psychic life, but they shouldn't be confused with real world practice. It's no different from daydreaming about playing the guitar and believing that alone can teach you the technique. Sure, some motivation, some visualization, they can be useful, but if you mistake the two it can lead to all sorts of frustrations later on. It can also create a false sense of reward that tends to make us lazy and more stagnant in life. That said, they help build confidence in subtle ways. Sometimes they are more dominant in life, but it's good to let them go as well. As for actually becoming famous or well known, I'd say the best advice is simply to do your work diligently and not worry too much about fame. That's real practice and it won't look like a red carpet, more like a nuissance, sometimes even a waste of time. But it's through these experiences that you build the foundations on which people may eventually start considering what you have to say.
