He's burning in Hell.
>>
he didn't make movies for years anon
>>
>>219326574
Never heard of him, is he a zoomer youtuber or something
>>

People here like to believe they have parasocial relationships with Hollywood celebrities. Look at the anons posting in the Chuck Norris sticky about how le sad they were, even though they hadn't posted anything related to Chuck Norris since 2010.

We all do anon.....

You know that cliche "he isn't truly gone because his work lives on". That actually applies wonderfully to Lynch.

people get sad when hearing about famous people from their youth dying, it reminds them of their own mortality and the fact that they get old(er)

My 10 favourtie Lynch feature films in no particular order:
Lost Highway
Wild at Heart
Fire Walk With Me
Inland Empire
Dune
The Straight Story
Eraserhead
Mulholland Drive
The Elephant Man
Blue Velvet

What are yours, anons?

Why is it ranked so low?

You do understand what "no particular order" means, right?
>>
>>219327652
Do you possess the capability to rank them?
>>
>>219327703
Maybe. But where's the fun in that?
Besides, I don't think my ranking would be very consistent. Today I might feel more Blue Velvet, and tomorrow more Mulholland Drive.
What I can tell you is that Elephant Man would pretty consistently end up at the very bottom. It's a good film, a great film even, but it's just Lynch filming someone else's script and lacks that special something, despite the general lynchean atmosphere.
Oh, and I find Straight Story difficult to rank/compare, for obvious reasons.

Brother I've seen everything from Rabbits to The Grandmother to Dune '84. I want to see your honest ranking. If someone tries to talk shit, I've got your back.
