NY77 The Coolest Year In Hell is an ok documentary that covers some of the basics in a seminal year, the blackout, son of sam, mayoral politics, drugs, poverty, and a lot of music related culture. Has a bit of everything from the time and quite a bit of archive material.

Spielberg went to shit but some of his early films are really slept on. Duel primarily, that movie is altogether a great film that makes for a great thriller and man vs movie.
