How did this make you feel?

I agree with Nolans choice to not show the nukes hitting Japan. Not a weeb, it's just a matter of respect.

They were very lucky Japan didn't call their bluff. They had two bombs and they used both. If the war had continued and they had adjusted their war time strategy to not having important shit located in such a small area that could be wiped out by one of their bombs, it would have been over for real

I was in awe. That the producers really allowed Nolan to do it like this. I understand Nolan is a big guy and doesn't like the studio meddling with his film, but if there's a moment to veto something as a producer it's the one nuclear explosion in the film about achieving a nuclear explosion.

>>219370388
LMAO this won an Academy Award.
>>
>>219370299
It would have been better if he hadn't shown the pitiful explosion at all, just the blinding white light and the immense sound.
>>
>>219370299
like I got scammed
didn't look anything like a nuclear explosion

AHAHAHAHAHAH

>reversed footage
>extreme close-ups
>slow motion
>using editing to hide how bad it looks

Low budget flicks in the 80s used the same tricks wtf.

Wonder how Nolan's going to handle Zeus (Or his lightning I guess)
>>
>>219370345
Nolan, however, is a huge weeb. It's why he ripped off perfect blue when making inception.
>>
>>219370299
Reading through the Trinity wikipedia page and watching the actual archival footage was 100 times more interesting and impactful than this retarded, lame ass fucking movie
>>
>>219371100
lol, yeah. I think Nolan just got too far up his ass about practical effects. Something like a nuclear explosion should be a good excuse to use CGI. This shit just looks like a typical hollywood pyrotechnic gasoline explosion. And it looks cheap and shitty
>>
>>219371320
Weebs think everything rips off Perfect Blue. Satoshi Kon is a fucking hack.
>>
>>219370299
David Lynch literally made a 100x better looking and more bone chilling Trinity shot on a TV budget...
