I do think Abbot could work as the new MC if they want to kick Robbie out and focus on night shift but Noah Wyles is seriously the best actor on the show, his non verbal scenes in particular like the moment he found out about Langdon in s1. You could feel the huge disappointment and betrayal he felt when he opened the locker. No one on the day shift can carry except maybe Langdon but he’s not in any position to do so
