Just marathoned this Shakespearean Kurosawa epic, what did I think of it?
My favorite Kurosawa.Maybe High and Low, that's pretty good too.

They had 20 (western american) horses in total. He is just filming using his usual 3 camera way and cutting between themI recommend watching A.K. by chris marker for a behind the scenes, it's a bit complentative but worth it for Kurosawa fans, another thing that shocked me is that it was filmed in winter and everybody is freezing their balls off and waiting for weather for days, I really though it was summer>>219381922>>219386241its not kabuki is Noh theatre
