Why are they called "blade runner"s?
>>
>>219385313
it's braderunna. "he say you braderunna"
>>
>>219385313
Do they even have blades? And I am not sure if Harrison Ford is actually ran in any movies

How did this thing work? Before the emanator Joi was being projected from the device on ceiling. This thing can project her from Gosling's pocket?

It is practically magic compared to the older projector
>>
The "blade" represents the thin line between humans and synthetics. "Runner" vaguely describes what they do for a living

The idea is that you have to save up for that premium emanator service. It's a goal for the incel to work towards, and another product to enrich Big Corpo.

>same mustache and beard after all those years
>even wears a stupid bow tie
I liked the subtlety.

They could have just made him make an origami to establish who he was but they had to go this extra mile

When they're running after replicants they're very aerodynamic like a blade so they're fast enough to catch the robots
>>

That was the big present he got her, she was able to download onto it and leave the apartment with him.

Its dishonest.

Are you not understanding the question? That thing >>219386248 is in his pocket. How is it projecting her around him? The one in the apartment clearly had to follow her around and point directly at her with no obstructions.

I like the look of the first movie better, but the plot suck ass
>>
>>219389121
The plot was fantastic though. You're likely mad since you saw first movies that built off it. It's like watching the sequels to Alien or Star Wars, then seeing the original. Of course they will seem small and boring compared to others that had to keep upping the scale and stakes
>>
>>219389300
NTA but first Blade Runner does suck, plot and acting wise. I saw it a few weeks ago so it's fresh on my memory.
Aesthetically it does look cool though.
>>
>>219389534
No, it doesn't. The plot is amazing. The sequels plot is literaly shit direct from an asshole. Replicants can't reproduce? Get the fuck out of here that's so goddamn stupid. So let's go find this old man hiding in an irradiated desert for decades and his baby girl that lives in an isolated box working for the guy trying to find her. Wow, fucking amazing. Stupid bullshit doesn't deserve to be mentioned at the same time as the first movie.

Did you even watch 2049

The game is so good
>>
>>219385313
The title is taken from an unrelated screenplay William S. Burroughs adapted from a novel of the same name. That novel was about underground surgical supply delivery boys.
>>
it sounds cool

>>219388948
It's an emanator not a projector.
