Snoke isn't the big bad he's just a cunt. The rebellion squabbles over leadership were idiotic forced drama that ended in no point, there was no actual plan to do anything but crawl up and die. The plot is saved by a near-literal deus ex machina, but don't worry Luke keels over and dies from this for reasons not established.The one actual idea of the entire movie was maybe we go beyond the good and evil shit and find some new direction for Star Wars. But that is undone in the very same movie and it's just more of the same now from a main villain who's shown to be both a cunt and a loser who doesn't even believe in the ideas of the evil empire he now rules. Making a Star Wars film for new fans is fine. This wasn't a movie for anyone. It had no point, it was so stagnant they had to reinvent a second chapter for the third movie.
