It also took a religious story and applied a modern day political spin on it (God flooded the world not due to sin, but due to pollution and climate change!) which I think pissed off the religious crowd and the environmentalist crowds.I appreciated some of the aesthetics and there were some harrowing moments, like all those people on top of a mountain getting killed by a wave, but other than that the movie just kind of sucked. There was also this tie in comic book that made it seem post apocalyptic, like the Nihilim were wearing stop signs as armor and its looked like Fallout, but the movie doesnt really hint at this at all. Emma Watson is a dull, bad actor and for all the fantastic design work, the maincast still wears that basic patch work bullshit "fantasy" clothes which seemed really lazy

Also Noah himself uses the power of the serpent skin. It's portrayed a positive item that brings him knowledge
