What do you think of Station Eleven?
it was ok
>the subversive ending is that it was actually a happy ending threw me off as I thought the bomb was going to go off when they looked at each other
THE FACT THAT THE PROTAGONIST, AND THE MAN WHO TOOK HER IN, NEVER GOT TOGETHER AS HUSBAND, AND WIFE, IS VERY CONTRIVED IN A «POLITICALLY CORRECT» PUSILLANIMOUS WAY.
There needs to be a better way to grow food in case of an apocalyptic event. The downloading of important web pages was a neat idea and definitely saved them.
>>219414694She's so ugly bros.
Surviving the apocalypse is not worth it if it means watching some pretentious theatre fags doing Shakespeare.Walk into that mushroom cloud.
>>219414694it was a garbage movie I thought it sucked and I turned it off pretty soon. the postman did it better
Liked it. One of the few adaptations that improves on the source material
>>219414694faggy and woke, but it did make me feel things
>>219414694one of the rare post apocalyptical shows that's actually interesting. And it's also short and to the point.
>after society collapses, we’ll be a heckin badass wholesome traveling theatre troup everyone will love because we do Shakespeare!>also my graphic novel that no one will even let me pay to publish will be like totally the Bible to post-apocalypse kids! And this is what they actually believe.
>>219416005midwit incarnate
Boys and girls got a taste of McKenzie, nice.
When I saw the whole show was not about her I dropped it.
>>219416005What skills do you have that would make you useful?
>>219416146this. Is "Halt and Catch Fire" any good?
when tobias funkë showed up I took it to mean it was a comedy that wasn’t actually funny, just like arrested development. As that’s all that could explain everything that happened thus far.
>>219418989I liked it even if she's an obnoxious cunt in it.
>>219414694>What do you think of Station Eleven?Too many niggers (more than 0)
>>219414694Gib tall celtic Mackenzie Davis gf
>>219414694>heckin theater during le apocalypse??I never got this complaint. Traveling theater companies sprang up in medieval Europe during conditions that were equivalent to modern societal collapse
>>219414694It was watchable.
>>219414694It's good but watching it in 2024 it really felt like a relic produced pre covid. Before covid, it might have felt more plausible to the average viewer that you could have a virus which kills 99.99% of those it infects, and which is also contagious enough to spread everywhere and end the world. But after the pandemic it's more widely understood how that really can't happen
i loved it but holy shit is it hard to recommend to people. the first episode sets it up as some crazy post apocalyptic drama with the kid, then the second episode jumps ahead like 20 years to follow a traveling theater group. then it jumps back to follow a completely new character for episode 3. everyone i told to watch lost interest by then
>>219418989Excellent. One of the best shows of the 2010sFinal season is very touching
>>219416236Bushy-browed cunny is best cunny.
