It's an abstraction. It's not meant to be a direct canonical 1:1 realtime recording of what's going on their lives like it's fucking Big Brother or Fishbowl or whatever. It's comedy, it's showing a bunch of goofy things that are observationally known to occur among people of a certain persuasion, ramped up to an appreciable level of absurdity.

God, you zoomers truly have malfunctioning, dead brains, huh? You can't comprehend anything that isn't rote, lifeless concrete fact. Nothing makes sense unless it's explicitly spelled out for you by the character speaking directly into the camera. Smartphones really ruined you as an entire generation.
