what was the worst product placement ever seen in film?
>>219423998it's a toss-up but both are from subwau - that one tv show with the fat hawaiian guy eating subway and the other characters are commenting on all the different sandwiches he has. the other one was the red dawn remake where there's a shoot out happening on the street and the guy dives into a pristine subway full of people calmly eating. he then screams "SANDWICH ARTIST©! FILL THIS BAG WITH BREAD - HONEY OAT®, ITALIAN HERBS AND CHEESE®" etc and starts using the corporate-approved names for everything
>>219423998I thought regular food wasn't allowed on the spacecraft
>>219423998somebody shop the newports in there
>>219424460they smuggled it into the launch tower while the nasa cops werent looking
>>219424460if it's like the ISS, i presume spreads are allowed because they eat peanut butter and honey in tortillas.

>Die Another Day brought in $120 million in product placement revenue, paying for nearly 85% of the film's budget
>>219426923now their dildoes
>>219426923kek'd
Literally every single Adam Sandler movie is just product placements with a plot sprinkled in.

>>219426923well done lol
>>219428511It's like people only do things because they get paid, and that's just really sad.
Wasn't there a transformers movie where a decepticon transformed into one of Dre's shitty headphones
>>219428737Why else would they do it?
>>219428797they were doing that since movie 1. an xbox 360 turns into a killer robot and the xbox sound played and everything
>>219428804I can't talk about it anymore, it's giving me a headache.
>>219424354>he then screams "SANDWICH ARTIST©! FILL THIS BAG WITH BREAD - HONEY OAT®, ITALIAN HERBS AND CHEESE®"He didn't say that
>>219428074I vaguely remember they stopped the giant monster by dumping shampoo on it, but wasn't the very ending just literally a commercial for it?
Smallville had some pretty cringe product placement where the product wasn't just seen but a character basically did a commercial for the product. Chloe babbling to Clark for several minutes about how much she loved her Toyota Yaris was just one of the more noteworthy examples. It's one thing to have a character drive a particular brand's vehicles but having them pitch it during an episode is over the line.
>>219432533Here, try a Nuprin. Little. Yellow. Different.
Not /tv/, but the third Eureka Seven reboot movie is fucking atrocious with product placement. Every five seconds you get something plastered with Bandai Namco and whatever other companies they begged for funding from.
Bud Light in TRANSformers 4Pepsi in World War Z
>>219428128That doesn't count, does it?
>>219423998Either Marky Mark drinking beer (I think?) in some Transformers movie or Brad Pitt drinking Coke in WWZ.
