I like the Splatterpunks, they help convey the idea that there are entire sections of Old Detroit that have become basically unliveable due to rampant crime. Boddicker's gang and Cain's cult were good to give Robo an enemy to focus on, but you got the impression that they didn't have an effect on day-to-day life for the average person, but Splatterpunks or the Dogtown Boys make it seems like the whole city is just one big gang-ridden ghetto. I also like gangs that seem like they have some kind of twisted religious element, like the Splatterpunks worship the collapse of society.
