what does tv think of monster house
>>219446502Rare example of Roger Ebert being right
>>219446502PS2 horror
>>219446502I don't like the way some of the characters are drawn, that is all.
>>219446502It's good, despite the shitty looking mocap animation.
>>219446502i remember feeling sad for the old man and his wife
>>219446502I'd slingshot Jenny's monster house
>>219447163more like monster garage
>>219446502I remember really liking it as a kid, but I haven't seen it since then
>>219446502I added its listing to imdbI've never seen itIs it any good
>>219450969It's pretty good. The jokes are actually funny unlike a lot of animated junk from the 2000s and the mocap uncanniness adds to the horror atmosphere though probably unintentionally.
genuinely enjoyable movie despite how ugly it is
As a deeply closeted southern gay boy I loved it. Still remember how mad my psychotic religious mom got near the end when the hunky jock is revealed to be gay.
>>219446502I recall it being pretty good despite not being very high end in terms of animation.
>>219452061That’s paranorman bro
>>219451965wierd take. i think it looks fine. the mocap animation looks a little uncanny but it adds to the horror vibe the movie is going for
>>219446502So it's a girl house
>>219446502I loved it as a kid and always wanted more horror movies for children like this
Another example of an early CGI film where it could do with passing through a modern renderer. Do a bit of material definition, subsurface scattering, add some normal maps and smooth out the weird bobbly animation it has in some places and it'd be much easier to watch.Probably lost all the original files for it though which is a shame as it's a good film made hard to watch by how it looks.
>>219446502Its got Steve Buscemi thats enough for me.
>same voice as jessica rabbit
